Trust.Zone is a low-risk way to test a budget VPN, but the evidence available in 2026 does not support calling it fast, reliable for streaming, or independently audited. Its no-logs, unrestricted P2P and kill switch claims come from the vendor. The most detailed independent test cited here, VPN Mentor’s 2026 review (updated June 17, 2026), confirmed some of those features, reported leak-free results, and found heavy speed losses and mixed streaming access.
Short answer by use case
| What you want to do | Verdict | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Test a VPN before paying | Worth trying | The vendor advertises a three-day trial that needs no credit card and is capped at 1,000 users per month. |
| Watch Netflix or Max | Worked in the reviewer’s tests | VPN Mentor reported success with both, in its own setups and on its test date. |
| Watch Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video or BBC iPlayer | Failed in the reviewer’s tests | The same review reported that these four did not work in its tested configurations. |
| Everyday browsing or HD video on a slow connection | Not established | The reviewer reported large speed losses, which may or may not appear on your connection. |
| Torrenting | Possible, with limits | The vendor says P2P is unrestricted, but the reviewer’s single torrent test was narrow and one server would not connect. |
| Verified no-logs privacy | Not established | The no-logs claim is the vendor’s own statement; no independent audit was confirmed. |
Vendor claims versus independent findings
Trust.Zone’s homepage makes several promises. The table separates what the vendor states from what the reviewer observed, because the two carry very different weight.
| Claim | Where it comes from | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Does not log users’ activities | Vendor homepage | Vendor claim. The reviewer could not confirm an independent audit of the privacy policy, which it found brief. |
| Kill switch | Vendor homepage | The reviewer found it worked when enabled, but it was not switched on automatically. |
| No IP or DNS leaks | VPN Mentor test | Reported as a test result on the reviewer’s setup, not a guarantee for every device. |
| Unrestricted P2P traffic | Vendor homepage | Vendor statement. Not a guarantee of performance on every server. |
| Warrant canary | Vendor homepage | A signal the vendor publishes, not proof that logging is technically impossible. |
| Many protocols, including WireGuard | Vendor homepage | The reviewer said WireGuard needed manual configuration rather than a simple in-app switch. |
Privacy: what “no logs” does and does not establish
The vendor says it does not log users’ activities. VPN Mentor accepted this as a claim but could not verify it. The privacy policy it found was short, and the reviewer could not establish whether any external party had audited it. The reviewer also discussed the service’s jurisdiction as Seychelles. A favorable jurisdiction is a legal consideration, not a technical proof that no records exist.

- Security - SPI Firewall, VPN Pass through, FTP/H.323/PPTP/SIP/IPsec ALG, DoS Defence, Ping of Death and Local Management. Standards and Protocols IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3x, IEEE 802.1q
- Read the current privacy policy yourself and note what it says about connection logs, timestamps, IP addresses and payment records.
- Look for a named, dated independent audit. A statement on the homepage is not an audit.
- Check whether the warrant canary is still published and updated on the vendor’s site. A missing or stale canary is a warning sign, but a current one does not prove the service keeps no logs.
- Treat the no-logs claim as unverified unless you find an audit report that names the auditor and its date.
Streaming access
VPN Mentor tested streaming in the same period as its 2026 review. Its results were mixed:
| Platform | Result in the reviewer’s tests |
|---|---|
| Netflix | Worked |
| Max | Worked |
| Hulu | Did not work |
| Disney+ | Did not work |
| Amazon Prime Video | Did not work |
| BBC iPlayer | Did not work |
The reviewer also reported streaming slowdowns and suggested using port 443 in its tested setup. Streaming services change their detection and blocking often, so these results describe one moment and one configuration. The reliable test is your own platform, from your own location, during the trial period.

Speed: what the reviewer measured
VPN Mentor’s testing is the source of the speed figures below. They are the reviewer’s measurements, taken on its connection, from its locations and on its test date. They are not a universal benchmark.
Recommended Free Tools
- Nearby servers: the reviewer reported an 80% loss in download speed compared with its baseline.
- Distant servers: the reviewer reported an 87% loss in download speed.
- Overall: the reviewer described performance as poor.
Speed depends on your connection, the protocol you choose, the server you pick, network congestion and the time of day. A loss of this size would make 4K streaming and large downloads difficult in the reviewer’s setup, but your results may be better or worse, so run your own speed test on the trial with and without the VPN.

Leaks and the kill switch
The reviewer reported no IP or DNS leaks in its tests and said the kill switch worked when enabled. The kill switch was not turned on by default, so a new user can browse without protection until they enable it. Check the setting in the app before you rely on it, and repeat a leak test after any change to protocol or server.
Torrenting and P2P
The vendor says P2P traffic is unrestricted. The reviewer’s torrent test gives a partial picture:

- On a nearby server, the reviewer downloaded a 700 MB file in about 13 minutes. Without the VPN, in the same setup, the download took about 12 minutes.
- On a server more than 5,000 km away, the same file took about 45 minutes.
- The Australian P2P server did not connect during testing, so the reviewer could not assess it.
The download-time figures and the speed-loss percentages above come from different tests and are not directly comparable. Both should be read as the reviewer’s observations on its own setup.

Trial, plans and optional add-ons
The vendor’s homepage FAQ describes a three-day trial that requires no credit card and is available to 1,000 users each month. Trial users are described as having access to multiple server locations, unlimited data and unlimited bandwidth. The vendor also says paid plans include unlimited data transfer and bandwidth. These are the vendor’s stated terms, and offer conditions can change, so confirm them on the sign-up page before you pay.
Several features are sold separately. The premium features page lists these starting prices:
| Add-on | Starting price shown by the vendor | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Extra simultaneous connections | From $0.99/month | Lets more devices connect at once. |
| Dedicated IP | From $1.99/month | Gives you a single IP address that is not shared. |
| Port forwarding | From $2.49/month | Allows incoming connections for torrenting and remote access. |
| DDoS protection | From $0.99/month | Adds protection against denial-of-service attacks. |

Trust.Zone is worth a short trial if you want a wide protocol list, a low-commitment test and a no-card start. Test your own streaming platforms and your own connection speed during that trial. It is a weaker choice if you need an audited no-logs guarantee, consistent speed for high-bitrate video, or dependable access to Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video or BBC iPlayer. If any of those matters most, choose a service whose privacy audit and streaming results you can verify before you pay.
Verdict
Trust.Zone is a qualified buy rather than a clear recommendation. Its feature list is broad and the trial is cheap to test. Its privacy claims and P2P claims are still the vendor’s, and the independent test in 2026 found large speed losses and mixed streaming access. Use the trial to check the platforms and speeds that matter to you, and treat the no-logs claim as unverified until an independent audit is published.
