The 2026 Toshiba REGZA ArtVision G700S and Samsung The Frame both aim to look like framed art when idle, but they differ in art access, TV software, design details, and price. Toshiba’s reported advantage is an included collection of more than 3,000 artworks with no subscription; Samsung’s is an established Art Store and Glare Free technology. In the reported US 75-inch comparison, the G700S costs more than either Samsung model. Toshiba specifications and prices here are reported by ecoustics, not independently verified, and prices can change.

Price: Samsung has the edge in the reported 75-inch comparison
At 75 inches, ecoustics lists the G700S at a $2,999.99 MSRP, while Samsung lists The Frame at $1,999.99 and Frame Pro at $2,799.99 in its 2026 US announcement. The standard Frame is $1,000 less than the G700S at those reported prices; Frame Pro is $200 less. These figures are not a like-for-like assessment of picture quality or total value, and live prices may differ.
For smaller sizes, ecoustics reports G700S MSRPs of $1,099.99 for 55 inches and $1,299.99 for 65 inches, while Samsung’s announcement lists The Frame at $1,199.99 and $1,499.99 for those sizes. Compare current listings at the size you plan to buy: the reported Amazon prices for Toshiba were a dated snapshot, not guaranteed offers.

Art access is the clearest difference
Toshiba: a reported included collection
ecoustics reports that the G700S includes access to more than 3,000 curated artworks without a subscription. That model may suit buyers who want a substantial art selection without adding a recurring fee. The collection size and access terms are Toshiba details reported by ecoustics, not independently audited figures.
Samsung: free samples and a paid full catalog
Samsung describes Art Store Streams as a monthly selection of 30 new curated works, with over 350 free pieces to explore per year. Its full Art Store catalog, which Samsung says contains more than 5,000 works by over 800 artists, requires a paid subscription. The free selection and paid catalog are different access tiers; compare what is included and the current subscription terms before choosing.

Design and glare: compare the actual room setup
According to ecoustics, the G700S has a matte anti-glare screen, a two-tone White Oak frame, an included UltraSlim wall mount, and an ultra-slim profile down to 1.2 inches. Samsung promotes Glare Free technology and configurable bezels for The Frame. Both approaches target the screen’s appearance when it is displaying art, but the cited information does not establish which handles reflections better in a controlled comparison.

Refresh-rate numbers do not settle picture quality
The 165Hz native refresh rate attributed to Toshiba by ecoustics and Samsung’s claim of up to 144Hz Motion Xcelerator are not directly comparable evidence of overall image quality. Samsung’s stated figure has gaming-related limitations in its announcement footnotes. The cited sources do not establish whether the G700S’s 165Hz specification produces a practical advantage for a particular console or PC setup.
RTINGS’ July 14, 2026 review, updated on its test bench September 18, 2026, describes the standard Frame as an entry-level lifestyle TV and says Frame Pro adds picture-enhancing features. Its comparison summary says the standard Frame is not as bright as the Hisense CanvasTV 2026 it cites. Those are findings about Samsung, not Toshiba, and cannot be transferred to the G700S.

Which one makes more sense for you?
- Choose the G700S if the reported no-subscription collection, Fire TV, included White Oak frame, and included mount align with what you want—and the current price works for your budget. Toshiba’s specifications and availability should be confirmed against a current retailer listing.
- Choose The Frame if you prefer Samsung’s art-access model, want its Glare Free feature, or value Samsung’s independently tested 2026 model information. Budget for a subscription if you want the full Art Store catalog.
- Pause before deciding if picture quality is the priority. The cited sources provide no independent G700S measurements or controlled head-to-head test. A feature list and refresh-rate claim cannot answer which TV performs better in your room.
What “growing art TV market” means here
These products illustrate a category of TVs designed to display art and use customizable frames. Samsung cites Circana LLC’s Retail Tracking Service for US TV “Frame TV Included” dollar and unit sales over the 12 months ending December 2025, defining the attribute around a customizable interchangeable frame or a frame that can be placed over a TV. Its announcement gives no growth rate or market-size total in the cited passage, so it does not support a numerical claim that the category is among the fastest-growing.
