The Toshiba 65C350RP is an Australian-market 65-inch 4K smart TV with VIDAA U9, Dolby Vision support, three HDMI 2.0 inputs, and gaming features including VRR and ALLM. Its published specifications make it a plausible fit for everyday streaming and console gaming, but they do not establish measured picture quality, native refresh rate, or 4K/120Hz support. CHOICE lists an independent review for the model, but its test results are available only to members.
What this review can—and cannot—establish
This article covers the Toshiba 65C350RP, the 65-inch model in Toshiba Australia’s C350RP series. Keep the RP suffix when checking listings: C350 models sold in other markets may use different specifications or software. Toshiba Australia identifies this model as a 2025 4K smart TV.
CHOICE has an independent review listing for the exact model. Its public page identifies the set as a 65-inch LCD with 4K resolution, three HDMI inputs and VIDAA, but its test results are member-only. The visible page does not provide a public score or enough test data to judge measured picture or sound quality, motion handling, input lag, reliability, or value against rivals. This is therefore a specification-led review, not a claim of hands-on or laboratory testing. CHOICE’s 65C350RP listing
Picture specifications and HDR formats
Toshiba lists a 3840 × 2160-pixel resolution, Direct LED backlighting and an 8-bit-plus-FRC panel. The listed HDR formats are HDR, HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG. These are format and hardware specifications; they do not tell you how bright the screen gets, how well it controls contrast, or how noticeable HDR will look in a bright room.

Toshiba also promotes its REGZA Engine ZR and AI 4K Clarity processing. The company describes the processing as producing “sharp, lifelike images in real time.” That is Toshiba’s product description, not an independently measured result. Its page also advertises Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Toshiba Australia’s C350RP product page
Smart TV platform, ports and wireless
The Australian specification lists VIDAA U9 as the smart-TV platform. Check the apps you rely on directly against the Australian VIDAA offering before buying; the platform name alone does not establish app availability or ongoing support for a particular service.

Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsGaming: VRR and ALLM, but no established 4K/120Hz
Toshiba lists Game Mode, Game Deck, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). These features can be useful with compatible consoles or PCs: VRR can synchronize display refresh with a device’s output, while ALLM can switch the TV into a lower-latency mode when supported content is detected.

The listed inputs are HDMI 2.0. The available model-specific material does not establish a native 120Hz panel or 4K at 120Hz support, so do not buy this set on the assumption that it can deliver 4K/120 gaming. If that capability matters, confirm the panel refresh rate and supported resolution/refresh combinations in writing for the exact regional model.
Sound and external audio
The specification lists two 10-watt audio outputs and Dolby Atmos support. Those entries do not substitute for independent listening tests or establish the effect of Atmos with built-in speakers. For an external audio system, HDMI 3 is the listed eARC connection; verify that a soundbar or receiver supports the audio formats and connection setup you intend to use. Power and broadcast details
The listed standby consumption is below 0.5 W. The built-in tuner supports DVB-T, DVB-T2 and analogue reception, and Toshiba specifies a seven-day EPG. These are manufacturer specifications; actual reception depends on signal coverage, aerial setup and local broadcast availability.
Price, availability and buying checks
CHOICE’s page lists AUD 1,095 and labels the model discontinued. That is a page-specific listing, not a verified current Australian offer or a performance verdict; prices and stock can change.
