Choose the filling and frosting your guests will enjoy

The UK review favored the tart compote in Lola’s and the sour jam in Morrisons as contrasts to sweet icing, while finding Asda’s and Tesco’s icing bland. Do not infer suitability from a cake’s appearance or store brand. The Guardian review specifically reported that Asda’s rainbow jazzie cake was not suitable for vegetarians. For allergies, dietary restrictions or ingredient sensitivities, read the current package and ask the bakery about the exact product and handling practices.
