Facebook said in 2018 that it planned two additional buildings at its Crook County, Oregon, campus by mid-2020. The company described a $750 million investment and said the expansion would bring the campus to more than 3.2 million square feet (300,000 square meters). These were plans and projections announced in 2018, not confirmation of present-day construction or operating status.

What the September 21, 2018 stories show
The roundup captured several different kinds of infrastructure momentum rather than a single data-center buildout. Facebook’s Oregon plans and Google’s wind-power arrangement concerned physical capacity and energy; Deutsche Telekom’s Bavaria plan and the German fixed-wireless trials concerned network reach; IBM’s launch and Microsoft’s acquisition concerned AI software; and Dell EMC’s Cork move concerned the production of the hardware behind enterprise systems. Their stated scale and maturity varied, so the plans, trials, launches and reported completed moves should not be treated as equivalent measures of deployed capacity.
