To make progress in AFK Arena on PC, prepare your team for the stage, upgrade and equip heroes, and take manual control of ultimate abilities when auto-battle wastes a shield or heal. First check whether your client is AFK Arena: Companions or Classic: Google Play’s current PC listing is for Companions and says Classic accounts can transfer heroes, but that does not establish that every feature works the same in both versions.
Check which version of AFK Arena you are playing
Google Play’s current listing is for AFK Arena: Companions. It says Classic Server accounts can link and transfer heroes to Companions; this is not a complete guide to the differences between the versions. Check the version and account shown in your client before relying on a version-specific feature or offer. View the Google Play listing.

Install through an Android emulator
BlueStacks’ documented setup is to install BlueStacks, sign in to Google Play, search for AFK Arena, install the game, and launch it. Its guide also explains its own keyboard mapping and optional macros. A separate AFK.Global emulator guide dates to 2022; it should not be treated as current policy guidance from Lilith Games.
Prepare for a difficult stage before retrying
AFK Arena uses stage-based auto-battles, so treat a stalled stage as a cue to review your team’s readiness rather than assume one formation will solve every fight. BlueStacks recommends upgrading and equipping heroes to help them handle larger threats. That is broad preparation advice, not a guaranteed recipe or a tested progression formula.

- Review whether your heroes are upgraded and equipped before repeating a stage.
- Borrowing a hero is another possible way to fill a roster gap. BlueStacks documents the feature, and Google Play describes it for Companions; verify availability in your version.
- Lilith’s official site describes seven unique factions, but the cited official page does not provide matchup-specific advice. Do not assume a particular faction counter or investment priority from that fact alone.
Use manual ultimate timing when auto-battle wastes a skill
On a challenging fight, try switching off auto-battle and triggering ultimate abilities yourself. BlueStacks notes that the computer may spend defensive or support abilities—such as shields and healing—at a poor moment. Manual timing can let you hold a skill for when it is useful, though it cannot guarantee a win.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIf you play through BlueStacks, its keyboard mapping can make controls more convenient on a PC. The mapping is an emulator control feature; it does not change the game’s underlying battle mechanics.

Keep optional automation in perspective
BlueStacks describes macros that repeat clicks to move between stages on its platform. This is optional emulator automation, not an official game feature or a necessary way to progress. The available guidance does not establish that unattended automation is appropriate for every account or version, so do not treat it as a standard progression strategy.

The official Lilith Games site describes a roster spanning seven factions, but the cited material does not establish current hero-by-hero investment priorities, exact campaign formations, matchup counters, or a definitive tier list. Those choices can depend on your version and roster; avoid treating generic lists as guaranteed solutions for your stage.
