A TikTok creator says he lost a new sales job after refusing what he described as an HR demand to delete his account. The Daily Dot report, summarized by News Minimalist on October 1, 2026, says the creator, @deniztalks, described an HR manager calling him “a liability.” The outlet could not independently verify his account, and the employer has not been identified.

What the creator says happened

According to the account summarized by News Minimalist, @deniztalks said he was offered a new sales job and that HR told him to delete his TikTok account or lose the position. He said the HR manager characterized him as “a liability.” Those details—including the alleged ultimatum, the remark, and the loss of the job—are the creator’s account, not independently confirmed findings.

News Minimalist described him as having nearly 535,000 followers at the time of its October 1, 2026 summary of the Daily Dot report. That is a publication-time figure, not a verified current follower count.

What is—and is not—confirmed

The available report summary says the Daily Dot could not independently verify the creator’s account of the hiring process. It does not identify the prospective employer, establish the exact job title beyond a sales job, provide the offer terms, or supply a verifiable transcript or primary record of the HR conversation. The HR manager’s alleged words should therefore not be treated as a confirmed direct quotation.

The report is about one person’s description of a hiring dispute. It does not establish that an employer-wide policy existed or that the same circumstances apply to other candidates.

Why the distinction matters

A creator’s account can bring attention to a workplace dispute, but without an employer response or supporting records, readers cannot independently assess what was said or why the hiring process ended. The strongest supported description is that @deniztalks alleged an account-deletion ultimatum and said he lost the job after refusing; the underlying details remain unverified in the cited report.
