A server and TikTok creator identified as Gemma (@gemma.moro) says two customers’ demeanor changed after she forgot to bring one of them a requested glass of water. Gemma later brought it, but said she saw the women covering their mouths while whispering and felt they were talking about her. Their identities, intent and side of the story have not been established.
What Gemma says happened
In a video described by Kelsey Knowles for Attack of the Fanboy, Gemma recounts serving two older women who were initially friendly and joked with her. During a busy shift, she says, she brought cocktails to the table but forgot the glass of water one customer had requested.
Gemma says she noticed the women covering their mouths while whispering and interpreted the behavior as gossip about her. She later brought the water, but said the interaction remained difficult. As quoted in the report, she described the shift in their apparent attitude this way: “It’s like their perception of me changed.”
