TikTok announced a self-service advertising offer in Pakistan called TikTok for Business Ads Manager, aimed at small and medium-sized businesses. The company says it lets businesses create campaigns, manage budgets and optimize performance, with creative tools and audience targeting also highlighted. The announcement does not specify who can currently open an account, how much ads cost, or which payment methods are accepted.
What TikTok announced in Pakistan
TikTok described Ads Manager as a way for small and medium-sized businesses to reach new audiences and manage marketing campaigns themselves. Dawn reported the announcement on December 18, 2025, citing TikTok’s statement. TikTok’s Pakistan announcement is the primary source for the company’s description; Dawn’s report provides the reported date.
Who TikTok says the service is for
TikTok presents the intended users broadly: local entrepreneurs, homegrown brands and growing businesses. Baris Aldanmaz, the company’s Head of Global Business Solutions for Türkiye, Central and Southern Asia, cited neighborhood stores, fashion labels and online startups as examples. He said, “Pakistan’s small businesses are among the most creative in the region, and TikTok is proud to support their growth.” That is the executive’s characterization, not an independently measured ranking.
The launch sources do not provide a formal eligibility checklist, so the examples should not be treated as confirmation that every business in those categories can sign up.

What Ads Manager is described as doing
- Create campaigns: Set up advertising campaigns through the self-service platform.
- Manage budgets: Control campaign spending through budget-management tools.
- Optimize performance: Use the platform’s described optimization tools to manage campaign performance.
- Develop creative and target audiences: TikTok also highlighted creative tools and targeting, but the announcement does not detail their specific features or availability.
These are functions named in TikTok’s announcement, not a guarantee of a particular result. The launch materials do not compare Ads Manager with competing platforms or establish that TikTok advertising is cheaper or more effective.
What the discovery statistics do—and do not—show
TikTok cited a “recent global survey” in which 73% of TikTok users said they had found new products they had not previously considered through TikTok ads, while 78% said they had found new brands they had not heard of before. The Pakistan announcement does not name the study, give its year, or disclose its sample, fieldwork dates or methodology. These are TikTok-attributed global survey results, not Pakistan-specific figures or independent evidence that a campaign will produce those outcomes for a local business.

What small businesses still need to verify
The launch announcement and contemporary reporting do not establish several practical details a business would need before budgeting or signing up:
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Which Pakistani businesses or account types are currently eligible.
- The exact signup and onboarding steps.
- Accepted payment methods and how billing currency is handled.
- Minimum campaign budgets or other costs.
- Which targeting options, local billing arrangements or support services are available in Pakistan.
Check the current Ads Manager account flow or official help information for these details before committing funds. The announcement alone is not a price list or a complete guide to account availability.

Earlier TikTok business education in Pakistan
TikTok’s Newsroom documented a GrowWithTikTok Masterclass workshop in Karachi on December 20, 2024. The company said it brought together small-business owners, marketers and entrepreneurs interested in growing their businesses on the platform. It is evidence of a past local education initiative, not confirmation that a class is currently open. TikTok’s Karachi Masterclass post describes that event.
