ThreatLocker announced a $115 million Series D funding round on April 24, 2024. Existing investor General Atlantic led the round, with StepStone Group and the D. E. Shaw group participating. The company said it would use the capital for product innovation and international expansion.
Who invested in ThreatLocker’s Series D?
General Atlantic led the financing. StepStone Group and the D. E. Shaw group also participated, according to ThreatLocker’s April 24, 2024 announcement. The release identifies General Atlantic as an existing investor.
SecurityWeek reported that the round brought ThreatLocker’s cumulative funding to nearly $240 million. That total is SecurityWeek’s reporting, rather than a figure stated in the company’s announcement. The preceding Series C was $100 million, raised in April 2022, according to SecurityWeek’s coverage.

Is the Series D ThreatLocker’s latest funding round?
No. The $115 million Series D is a historical 2024 financing announcement. ThreatLocker announced a $190 million Series F on July 29, 2026, led by Elephant, with continued support from D. E. Shaw Ventures and Arthur Ventures and a new investment from Koch Disruptive Technologies. The company said the later round would support AI security, platform development, and international growth. Its Series F announcement also reported more than 70,000 organizations worldwide; that company-reported figure belongs to the 2026 announcement and should not be confused with the 2024 figure.
The later announcement described platform development spanning endpoints, networks, and cloud resources, including controls the company says address AI-related risks. This is subsequent product context, not a description of what the Series D release listed. See ThreatLocker’s July 29, 2026 Series F announcement.
