No independent test establishes a verified top-five ranking of the thinnest iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus cases. What can be stated with confidence is narrower. A few case makers publish thickness figures for these exact models, and the thinnest of those is Totallee’s Scarf case, which Totallee lists at 0.02 inches for both the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus. Those are manufacturer specifications, not measurements checked by an independent lab. The list below is therefore a shortlist of exact-model options with stated specifications, not a ranking.

Totallee Scarf: the thinnest stated figure
The Scarf is the only option here with a stated thickness of 0.02 inches, and Totallee lists that figure for both phones. Its iPhone 15 product page describes the case in these terms: “Our cases are designed to offer everyday protection from bumps, scratches, dirt, and minor drops.” That is Totallee’s own wording about its product, not the result of an independent test. The Scarf is the right starting point for a reader whose priority is the least added bulk, but the protection it offers is modest by design. The page does not state a drop rating for the iPhone 15 version.
Thinborne 600D Aramid MagSafe: a MagSafe option for the iPhone 15 Plus
Thinborne lists its aramid-fiber case for the iPhone 15 Plus only, at 0.04 inches and 0.8 ounces. It has a built-in MagSafe ring, which matters if you use magnetic chargers or wallets. Thinborne also states the case is not built for high-impact drops, so it suits a reader who wants a slim profile and MagSafe more than a shell designed to absorb falls. When checked, the product page showed the case as sold out, so confirm stock before planning around it.

Totallee Clear Grip: a clear, grippier alternative for the iPhone 15 Plus
The Clear Grip is a clear TPU case listed at 0.04 inches for the iPhone 15 Plus. It is thicker than the Scarf, but Totallee describes it as shock-absorbing and includes a camera lip. Choose it if you want to see the phone’s finish and value a softer grip over the thinnest possible profile. Stated weight and stock were not shown on the page reviewed.

Two other makers sell cases for these phones, but the figures they publish do not describe the iPhone 15 or 15 Plus specifically, so they should not be ranked against the options above.

- Latercase: The company’s support information lists the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus series, with a general thickness of 0.6 mm and a weight range of 6 to 12 g across the range. Those figures are not confirmed for each model, so check the individual product page before comparing.
Choosing by priority
- Least added thickness: Start with the Scarf. It is the only option with a stated 0.02-inch figure, and it is listed for both phones.
- MagSafe and a stiffer aramid shell: Consider the Thinborne case for the iPhone 15 Plus if it is back in stock, and accept its stated limit on high-impact drops.
- Clear finish and softer grip: Consider the Clear Grip for the iPhone 15 Plus, accepting the extra 0.02 inches compared with the Scarf.
Before you buy
- Confirm the listing names your exact model. The Scarf is listed for both phones; the Thinborne and Clear Grip figures in this guide are for the iPhone 15 Plus.
- Check that the thickness on the listing is for your model rather than a general range.
- Confirm stock, because the Thinborne listing showed sold out when checked.
- If you use MagSafe accessories, confirm the case includes a MagSafe ring. Not every thin case does.
- Read drop claims as the maker’s own. Totallee’s 3-foot drop rating for the 15 Plus is a Totallee statement, and no independent drop test was found for these cases.
If you want the thinnest stated profile for either phone, the Totallee Scarf is the best-supported choice. A ranked list of five would need current, directly comparable measurements for every model, and those are not yet available for these phones.
