The Money Factory permanently ceased operations on August 9, 2026. It is no longer accepting registrations, purchases, or gameplay, so there is no working Money Factory app or website to use. The company says it preserved account records, balances, and pending redemption requests, but it does not guarantee payment or give a payout date.
Is there a Money Factory app?
No dedicated iOS or Android app was described in a secondary app review last updated September 18, 2026. That review said users accessed the service through a mobile browser. This is historical information, not a way to play now: the company says operations ended on August 9, 2026. GameChampions’ app review and The Money Factory’s shutdown notice provide those dated descriptions.
What happened to The Money Factory?
The company’s official notice says, “After careful consideration, The Money Factory has permanently ceased operations as of August 9, 2026.” It says it is accepting no new registrations, purchases, or gameplay. Do not rely on old app-review pages or search listings as evidence that the service is still available.
What should former players know about balances and redemptions?
The shutdown notice says player accounts, balances, and pending redemption requests have been recorded and preserved. It does not say that every pending request will be paid, establish a payout schedule, or provide a date by which payments will be completed.

What did Illinois regulators say?
The Illinois Gaming Board’s February 4, 2026 letter concerns availability to Illinois users, not a nationwide finding. The Board said it had observed The Money Factory offering Illinois users slots and table games online and on mobile devices, with opportunities to win cash, gift cards, and other prizes. It stated: “The IGB has neither licensed nor authorized The Money Factory to engage in online gambling activity.” The Board demanded that the company block Illinois residents or discontinue prize offerings. These statements describe the Board’s position and demand in Illinois on that date. Read the Illinois Gaming Board’s February 4, 2026 letter.
