Popular Mechanics reported the Black & Silver Emberton III at $99.99 on October 6, 2026, compared with a $179.99 list price. Its report put Black & Brass and Cream at $129.99; Gizmodo also reported that the price varies by finish. The deal is specific to the US Amazon listing and may change or end after publication. Marshall describes the Emberton III as a portable stereo speaker with two 2-inch, 10-watt full-range drivers and two passive radiators. Its stated frequency range is 65–20,000 Hz. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent sound-quality measurements. The stated size is 160 × 68 × 76.9 mm (6.3 × 2.7 × 3 in), and weight is 0.67 kg (1.5 lb). - Dust and water protection: The speaker is rated IP67. Marshall says it can be submerged in up to 1 m (3 ft) of water for up to 30 minutes. This does not mean it is indestructible or suitable for every aquatic use.
- Wireless: Bluetooth 5.3 LE, with a manufacturer-listed free-field range of up to 100 m. Actual range can depend on surroundings and connected devices.
- Calls and pairing: Marshall lists a built-in microphone and multipoint connectivity, along with support for its Marshall Bluetooth app on iOS and Android.
Charging, LE Audio, and what is in the box
A USB-C charging cable is included, so a second cable is not a required extra for ordinary use. Marshall lists the box contents as the speaker, USB-C cable, user manual, and legal and safety information. The fastening strap is included with the Brown version only.
Marshall also describes Emberton III as LE Audio ready, but says use depends on compatible source devices becoming available. The company’s product information states: “That the product is ready for LE Audio once there are source devices on the market.” Treat this as readiness for compatible sources, not a claim that LE Audio or future features such as Auracast will work with every device today.

Should you buy it at $99.99?
At the reported Black & Silver price, the Emberton III is worth considering if you want a compact speaker with a long manufacturer-rated battery life, an IP67 rating, multipoint, and a built-in microphone. The case for this deal is weaker if you want a different finish: those were reported at $129.99, not $99.99. The reported price is a dated US deal, not a guaranteed current price; verify the variant and total at Amazon before ordering.
