Choose a class in The Legend of Neverland by the combat pattern and weapon style you enjoy—not by an unverified “best class” ranking. The official descriptions cover ranged spells, mobile attacks, elemental gunfire, close katana combat, and energy-powered skills. Scholar also has community-described support and crowd-control paths. The available descriptions do not establish which class has the highest damage or survivability.
What each class does
The official game site describes the classes by their weapons and combat patterns. These are broad identities, not measured performance comparisons.
| Class | Range and weapon | Combat pattern and team utility |
|---|---|---|
| Scholar | Ranged magic using a book | Deals damage with spells from a distance. Community class-reference material describes the Judge path as focused on crowd control and Priest as providing buffs and heals; those specialization details may vary by version. |
| Ranger | Mobile ranged attacks | Emphasizes agility and finding enemy weaknesses for quick kills. The official site says, “Rangers have unparalleled mobility and agility, they find the weakness of the enemy and move to kill in one shot!” |
| Craftsman | Gun-based attacks | Uses alchemy and four elemental attributes to deliver firepower. |
| Gladiator | Close-range katana combat | The official site describes this class as excelling in close combat. |
| Lancer | Skills and basic attacks build dragon blood energy | Spends that energy to use stronger skills or enhance active skills. |
Class names are not consistent across all references: a community reference calls the sword weapon “Warrior,” while the official site calls its katana class “Gladiator.” Check the naming in your game version rather than assuming the labels are interchangeable everywhere.

Start with the weapon feel and combat loop you want. The official Google Play listing says players can switch classes and weapons, so trying a role and changing later is an option; that makes experimentation more sensible than relying on a universal ranking.

- Choose Craftsman if you prefer gunfire and elemental variation.
- Choose Gladiator if you want to fight at close range with a katana.
- Choose Lancer if you like building a resource through attacks and spending it on more powerful skills.
These descriptions indicate playstyle, not which class performs best in a particular dungeon, boss fight, or group. The official listing describes cooperative PvE dungeons and boss encounters, but the available class descriptions do not quantify each class’s contribution in those activities.
Does any class have the best damage or survivability?
The available official material does not provide a tested class-by-class comparison of damage, defense, health, or survivability. Terms such as “great damage” or “quick kill” in class descriptions are not a substitute for comparable measurements, so they cannot establish a strongest or toughest class.

Likewise, Scholar’s community-described Priest specialization is evidence of a support route, not proof that Scholar is the best support choice overall. If survivability, healing output, or damage rankings are decisive for you, check current in-game skill descriptions and stats for your version; the cited class descriptions do not settle those questions.
Can you switch classes or weapons?
The official Google Play listing says players can switch classes and weapons. A community wiki adds that players can equip two weapon types and switch between them in battle, and that a secondary class can be chosen at level 58. Those extra details are community-reported rather than established by the official listing, so confirm the current unlock requirements in-game before planning around them.
