Sofia, Olympia, Fianna, Tialla, and Ultand are a useful five-unit healer shortlist for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. Sofia is the strongest pick for dependable, dedicated healing; Olympia adds damage, Fianna offers high but luck-dependent healing potential, Tialla is especially appealing on Cai’s route, and Ultand provides passive frontline support. This is a guide-based recommendation, not an official ranking, and route access and the kind of support you need can change the best choice.
What makes a healer useful in Fortune’s Weave?
Fortune’s Weave is a turn-based tactical RPG for Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo describes its combat as strategic, turn-based command of units; positioning, classes, weapons, magic, armor, and special attacks all shape how a team performs. In that context, a healer’s value is not just the amount restored: range, reliability, other support or combat contributions, and whether you can recruit the unit on your route all matter.

The ranking below follows GamingAlly’s healer-focused September 23, 2026 guide, with role descriptions cross-checked against Mobalytics’ October 7, 2026 healer/support guide. It is ordered for practical healer use rather than overall roster strength. KeenGamer’s broader September 24 roster list, for example, evaluates factors including growths, abilities, team role, route availability, and recruitment cost, and ranks characters differently. That is a different question from identifying the strongest dedicated healer.

1. Sofia — best pure healer
Sofia is the clearest choice when your priority is dependable healing output. GamingAlly reports that her Healing Knowledge ability adds 10 HP to magic healing, and that later abilities increase her healing range. Mobalytics also highlights her passive healing bonus and later range increase, placing her in its S tier for healer/support roles.
#1 Best Overall
- Here, order is maintained by the Church of Seiros from its headquarters at Garreg Mach Monastery, home to the Officers Academy, where you’re invited to teach one of its three mighty houses: The Black Eagles, The Blue Lions, and The Golden Deer.
- Which house will you choose?
- As its professor, you must lead your students in class and in tactical RPG battles wrought with strategic, new twists to overcome.
Her route access is another practical advantage: GamingAlly says she joins automatically on Theodora’s route and is comparatively easy to recruit on other routes. If you want a dedicated healer with a reported bonus to magic healing and growing reach, Sofia is the strongest all-around fit on this list.
2. Olympia — best healer-damage hybrid
Olympia suits a team that wants its healer to contribute offensively as well. GamingAlly cites access to Heal and Physic, high Magic growth, and Nosferatu for self-sustain. Mobalytics similarly describes her as a mage damage dealer who can fill a sub-healer role.
That flexibility makes Olympia valuable when you want healing alongside magical pressure, but it does not make her a better dedicated healer than Sofia. Choose her for the hybrid role rather than pure healing output.

3. Fianna — highest healing ceiling, but less consistent
Fianna has the highest burst-healing potential in GamingAlly’s assessment, with Recover, Regen, and Rescue among her support spells. The trade-off is that key effects depend on Luck, so her strongest results are less predictable than Sofia’s steady healing value. Mobalytics also characterizes her as luck-dependent and recommends keeping her in a backline healer role.
Fianna is a high-upside option if you can accommodate variance. If you need healing you can count on consistently, Sofia is the safer choice.
Rank #2
- Command Fire Emblem: Three Houses characters like Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude in epic real-time battles
- Play through three distinct storylines set in the Fire Emblem: Three Houses universe, each with a different ending, from the point of view of a new protagonist, Shez.
- Combine the action-packed Warriors-style gameplay with the strategy and style of the Fire Emblem series
- Fight through hordes of enemies with Fire Emblem: Three Houses characters and their distinct abilities
- Use Fire Emblem series mechanics like the weapons triangle, character classes, crests, and battalions to tailor your strategy
4. Tialla — a strong primary healer on Cai’s route
Tialla automatically joins on Cai’s route, according to GamingAlly, and learns Physic and Recover. Those spells make her a useful primary healer for that path. Outside Cai’s route, however, the guide describes her recruitment as difficult because it involves quest, support, renown, and gold requirements.
Think of Tialla as a route-specific opportunity, not an easy universal recruit. Mobalytics also identifies her as a healer-buffer/support character.

Ultand’s Patch Up skill heals an adjacent ally after combat without spending Ultand’s action or spell charges, as described by GamingAlly. That makes him useful when he is already fighting near vulnerable allies. Mobalytics places him in A tier and notes his defensive support at higher levels.
His role has a firm limit: GamingAlly says he cannot learn Physic and cannot heal distant allies. Ultand is best treated as passive or frontline support, not as a replacement for a long-range primary healer.
How to choose for your team and route
Use these five questions to match a healer to the gap in your lineup:
Rank #3
- USA NTSC version game with World Edition packaging as pictured. No Region Restrictions.
- Two kingdoms are on the brink of war. Whose side will you choose?
- Torn between two families, you're an heir of Hoshido, raised by Nohrian royals.
- If you walk the path of Birthright, you'll battle the corrupted king of Nohr beside a family of strangers.
- Command them expertly and forge deep relationships to master this turn-based strategy game.
- Healing potency: Prioritize Sofia for dependable pure healing; consider Fianna if you want a higher but less reliable healing ceiling.
- Range: Sofia gains healing range through later abilities, while Tialla has Physic. Ultand is limited to adjacent-ally healing through Patch Up.
- Consistency: Sofia is the more dependable option; Fianna’s key effects are Luck-dependent.
- Support and combat utility: Olympia combines healing with magical damage and self-sustain. Ultand contributes passive healing and later defensive support.
- Route and recruitment: Sofia joins automatically on Theodora’s route and is comparatively easy elsewhere; Tialla joins automatically on Cai’s route but is difficult to recruit on other paths.
For a general-purpose healer, start with Sofia. Pick Olympia when offensive magic matters as much as healing, Fianna for potential burst support, Tialla when Cai’s route makes her accessible, and Ultand when you need supplementary healing around the frontline.
Why other rankings may disagree
“Best healer” can mean best at direct healing or best overall addition to a roster. GamingAlly’s ranking focuses on healing potency, range, consistency, and support utility, using combat as a tiebreaker. KeenGamer’s broader Part I roster tier list names Olympia as an S-tier healer while placing Sofia and Fianna among B-tier characters, because it weighs a broader set of factors such as growths, team role, route availability, and recruitment cost. Those results need not conflict: Olympia can score well as an overall roster asset while Sofia remains the stronger dedicated healer.
Mobalytics’ October 7, 2026 guide corroborates several role distinctions: it lists Sofia in S tier and Fianna and Ultand in A tier, describes Olympia as a mage damage dealer and sub-healer, and highlights Leda and Tialla as healer-buffer/support options. Its captured page does not provide a text-based ranked five, so it supports role comparisons rather than an exact ordering of these five units. None of these guide rankings is an official Nintendo healer ranking.
Game and platform context
Nintendo lists the physical edition of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave for Nintendo Switch 2, with a September 17, 2026 release date in its US store. The platform listing does not establish compatibility with the original Nintendo Switch. The game’s central heroes include Cai, Dietrich, Theodora, and Leda; the healer recommendations above concern support and recruit characters discussed by guide writers, not a claim that all four central heroes are healers.
