Using reported quarter-mile elapsed times (ETs) for fully upgraded, fully fused cars at each tier’s PP cap, CSR2 Mods’ September 2026 guide lists the Back to the Future Time Machine 3 as the fastest overall and the leader in Tier 5, at 6.505 seconds. Its listed leaders for Tiers 2–4 are the Mini Cooper JCW GP, Audi RS3 Sedan, and Ford Mustang Dark Horse. Tier 1 is disputed: the same guide lists the Ford Focus ST Crew, but other current third-party guides report different results.
Fastest CSR2 cars by tier
The figures below are quarter-mile ETs reported by CSR2 Mods, an independent tracker that says it uses in-game leaderboard tracking. Its tier guide assumes each car is fully upgraded and fused at its tier’s PP cap. These are not stock-car times or publisher-certified records.

CSR2 Mods says the listed records were refreshed on September 13, 2026; its tier guide was updated September 12. The tracker identifies the Time Machine 3 as its overall fastest listed car. Treat all figures as that tracker’s reported leaderboard results, rather than guaranteed times for every player.

CSR2 Mods’ September tier guide puts the Ford Focus ST Crew first in T1 at 11.590 seconds. Its separate fastest-cars hub instead lists the Honda Civic 1.5 VTEC Crew at 11.776 seconds and the Focus ST Crew at 11.818 seconds. Pocket Gamer’s guide, updated October 8, 2026 for CSR Racing 2 version 6.7.2, discusses base stats and says the Ford Mustang Boss 302 becomes fastest at elite-customization level 50.

Those pages do not explain the differences in build conditions or leaderboard snapshots, so their results cannot be reconciled from the available information. The Focus ST Crew at 11.590 seconds is the result in CSR2 Mods’ dated tier guide, not an uncontested T1 record. Pocket Gamer also notes that upgrades and tuning can change a car’s performance, so its base-stat discussion is not directly equivalent to a maxed-build quarter-mile leaderboard.
What “fastest” means here
Fastest depends on what is being compared. This ranking uses quarter-mile ET for a fully upgraded, fully fused car at the tier’s PP cap. A stock car’s base stats, a different race distance, or a partially built garage car answers a different question. In particular, a listed record is not a promise that an unmaxed car will match it.

The tiers are also a progression framework, not a single unrestricted race. Zynga Support says cars generally can enter their own tier or a higher one, with exceptions such as Regulation Races. The tier leaders therefore help identify candidates within a tier; they do not, by themselves, establish the best car for every race or account.
How to choose a practical car
If you are deciding what to build, compare the record and tier alongside your car’s current build and what you can actually complete. CSR2 Mods’ records assume maxed builds, and its guide advises considering which car you can fully fuse.

- Factor in what you own: A nominal tier leader may be less useful than a car you already have and can fully upgrade and fuse.
