The Crew Motorfest’s map spans four named Hawaiian islands: Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, and Niʻihau. They offer different scenery and activities, but access is not identical: Ubisoft describes Niʻihau’s environment and activities as paid Year 4 Pass or Tomb Raider DLC content, while Kauaʻi was announced as a free island for Season 11, beginning October 7, 2026. The game’s map is best understood by its islands and landscapes rather than by a formal list of “regions.”

Which islands are on The Crew Motorfest map?

Ubisoft’s current island overview names Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, and Niʻihau. Each has a different identity, and the announcement or overview language does not establish that every island’s content is available to every player.

Island What it is known for Travel and access
Oʻahu Honolulu streets, volcano routes, rainforest off-road routes, and beaches. Ubisoft’s starting guide describes exploration by car, boat, or plane. Ubisoft’s starting guide
Maui A mix of landscapes connected to Oʻahu by a bridge network. Ubisoft says players can travel between Maui and Oʻahu by sea, air, or land. The bridge connection and surrounding area support activities. Ubisoft’s Maui article
Kauaʻi Exploration and off-road terrain, including dense swamps and Red Canyon. Announced as a free island for Season 11, beginning October 7, 2026. The announcement does not establish live-build behavior beyond that plan. Ubisoft’s Year 4 announcement
Niʻihau An island associated in Ubisoft’s overview with temples. The island is visible on the map to all players, but its environment and activities require the Year 4 Pass or standalone Tomb Raider DLC pack. Ubisoft’s Year 4 announcement

What makes each island different?

Oʻahu: city streets, volcanoes, rainforest, and beaches

Oʻahu is the original setting and offers the most varied mix described in Ubisoft’s starting guide: urban driving around Honolulu, routes near volcanoes, rainforest off-road driving, and coastal scenery. The guide says players can explore by car, boat, or plane, so the island is not limited to road racing.

Maui: a connected island with a bridge playground

Maui was added free in November 2024. Ubisoft describes travel between it and Oʻahu by sea, air, or land, including a bridge connection with no loading screen. The bridge area is also a place to drive and take part in activities such as Grand Race and feats. Ubisoft’s article calls the bridge network and its surroundings a “seamless transition to Maui, without any loading time.” Read Ubisoft’s Maui article.

Kauaʻi: exploration and off-road terrain

Ubisoft announced Kauaʻi as the free island arriving with Season 11, which was scheduled to begin October 7, 2026. The announcement highlights exploration, dense swamps, and Red Canyon. Those details describe the announced island; they do not confirm how every feature behaves in a particular live game build.

Niʻihau: visible on the map, with a content gate

Ubisoft’s island overview names Niʻihau, and the Year 4 announcement says it is visible on the map to all players. Seeing it on the map does not mean its environment and activities are universally accessible: those are reserved for Year 4 Pass owners or buyers of the standalone Tomb Raider DLC pack.

How are activities organized on the map?

Playlists are the clearest documented way to find themed content. Ubisoft describes them as short campaigns built around tailored races, themed events, and unique challenges. Map markers can also point to extra activities that are not simply races; Ubisoft’s starting guide gives slalom around cones, timed-speed driving, and flying through hoops as examples. The activity mix changes with seasons, so examples should not be mistaken for a complete current list. Ubisoft’s Season 9 overview included NASCAR and RC Frenzy Playlists and a Kahoʻolawe-based playground; its Season 10 overview described the Motorfest Late Show and Hawaii Grand Tour. These illustrate how new themed content can be added over time. Ubisoft’s seasonal updates.

How do you travel between islands?

For Oʻahu and Maui, Ubisoft documents travel by sea, air, or land, with a bridge network providing a land connection. The surrounding bridge area is itself part of the playable world rather than merely a transition point. The available official descriptions do not establish equivalent travel details for every other island.

How does fast travel work?

Fast travel exists in The Crew Motorfest: Ubisoft’s Season 7 patch notes refer to a boat ending up below ground after fast travel. However, the cited official sources do not explain the current map-menu steps, which destinations qualify, or whether destinations must be unlocked. For those details, consult the current in-game interface rather than relying on unverified button instructions.

Rank #4

Do not confuse fast travel with Fast Fav. Fast Fav changes the selected vehicle, and Ubisoft’s starting guide says it can be used while traveling on roads, in the air, or over the ocean. It is a vehicle-selection feature, not a way to teleport between map locations. Ubisoft’s starting guide · Ubisoft’s Season 7 patch notes.
