The Charity is a charity and nonprofit HTML website template from Colorlib, released in September 2026. Its listing highlights Donate Now buttons, a photo gallery, blog, contact form, and newsletter capture. Those features make it a potential starting point for a nonprofit site, but the listing does not establish that payment processing, hosting, or an email newsletter service is included. It also does not provide evidence that the template raises more donations than alternatives.

What The Charity includes

Colorlib describes The Charity as a predesigned HTML template for charity and nonprofit organizations, with a homepage and inner sections intended to be adapted for a project. The listing names these features:

  • Donate Now buttons placed throughout the design
  • A photo gallery
  • A blog
  • A contact form described as working
  • Newsletter email capture

These are descriptions from the seller, not independently verified functionality. The listing does not identify the services or backend behind the contact form, newsletter capture, or donation buttons. In particular, a Donate Now button is not proof that payment processing or a complete donation workflow is supplied. Confirm what files and integrations are included before choosing it.

Does it deserve to be called the best HTML charity template?

There is not enough comparative evidence to establish that The Charity is objectively the best. Colorlib’s listing presents it as an option for charity and nonprofit sites, but does not compare it with competing templates or document measured performance, accessibility, security, or compatibility.

Colorlib says the Donate Now buttons are intended to increase fundraising potential. That is a design claim, not a measured donation result. A nonprofit should evaluate the template against its own requirements, including the donation process, mobile and accessibility needs, content editing workflow, and the cost of services needed to operate the site.

License, release date, and listed prices

Colorlib’s listing dates the template to September 2026 and displays a CC BY 3.0 license. It also shows the following purchase options and support periods. Prices and terms can change; check the current Colorlib listing before buying and confirm how the license applies to your intended use.

Option Price shown Support and updates shown
Single $19 One year
Membership $129 One year
Lifetime $349 Lifetime

The listing describes access to templates under these options, but the scope of access and any applicable restrictions should be checked in the live terms. Do not assume a displayed license resolves every question about client work, redistribution, modifications, or ongoing use.

What to arrange before launch

An HTML template is a front-end starting point, not necessarily a complete hosted fundraising system. Before adopting The Charity, identify who will provide and maintain each operational piece:

  • Hosting and deployment: The listing does not say that hosting is included. Establish where the site will run and how updates will be deployed.
  • Donations and payments: Confirm whether the buttons can connect to your chosen donation or payment provider, and test the full donor journey, including confirmation and receipts.
  • Contact form: The seller calls it working, but the listing does not establish its backend or delivery behavior. Verify that submissions reach the right people and that the form handles spam and personal information appropriately.
  • Newsletter: Email capture does not by itself establish a mailing-list provider, consent process, or automated subscription workflow. Choose and configure those separately if they are not included.
  • Content and upkeep: Check which pages and assets are supplied, what needs customization, and who will maintain the site after launch.

How to decide whether it fits

The Charity may be worth considering if you want a predesigned HTML layout for a nonprofit and are prepared to verify or supply the services behind its forms, newsletter, and donation links. Compare it with other options using the same practical criteria rather than relying on the word “best” in a product title:

  • License scope and permissions for your organization or client
  • Total cost, including any services needed beyond the template, and the duration of support and updates
  • Included pages, editable assets, and the amount of customization required
  • Technical requirements and compatibility with your hosting and deployment setup
  • Whether donation, contact, and newsletter workflows are actually integrated or require separate providers
