The clearest officially documented T-Mobile deal from August 2025 was a Revvl 8 “on Us” offer: qualifying customers could receive the $199.99 phone through 24 monthly bill credits after meeting line, plan or trade-in requirements. A July 31 roundup also reported deals on Samsung, Apple, Google and Motorola phones, plus watches, tablets and service perks, but those offers could change during August. This is a historical snapshot, not confirmation that any offer is still active.
What were the best T-Mobile deals in August 2025?
The strongest offer with detailed official terms in the available record was T-Mobile’s Revvl 8 promotion. A contemporaneous roundup published by Android Authority on July 31, 2025 listed a wider mix of device and service promotions. Because its publisher said the page would be updated as offers changed, it is best treated as a snapshot rather than proof that every deal remained available throughout August.
| Deal or category | What was reported | What to keep in mind |
|---|---|---|
| Revvl 8 | T-Mobile announced the phone August 12, with retail availability beginning August 14. It listed a $199.99 retail price and qualifying “on Us” promotions. T-Mobile Newsroom, August 12, 2025 | The offer depended on qualifying service, a new line on most plans or an eligible trade-in on specified Experience plans, and 24 monthly bill credits. |
| Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 | Included in Android Authority’s July 31, 2025 deals roundup. Android Authority roundup | The roundup described varying offer conditions; confirm the archived terms for the specific promotion. |
| iPhone 16, Google Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25 | Included in the same contemporary roundup. Android Authority roundup | Eligibility could depend on trade-ins, plan tiers, new lines or bill credits; exact terms and end dates are not established here. |
| Motorola Razr and phones for new lines | Also listed in the roundup. Android Authority roundup | These were reported categories, not a guarantee of availability for every customer or throughout August. |
| Smartwatches, tablets, network trial and streaming perks | The roundup reported deals or benefits in these categories, including a three-month network trial and Apple TV+ and other streaming benefits. Android Authority roundup | Specific eligibility, durations and expiration dates varied and are not established here. |
The consulted sources do not establish every promotion active during August or the exact end date of each offer. Treat the list beyond the Revvl 8 as reported examples, not a complete or continuously valid inventory.

How did the Revvl 8 “free phone” offer work?
T-Mobile announced the Revvl 8 on August 12, 2025, and said it would be available online and in stores starting August 14. The listed retail price was $199.99. The company said new and existing customers, including businesses, could get the phone “on Us” with either a new line on most plans or an eligible trade-in in any condition on specified Experience More or Experience Beyond plans. The promotion was subject to qualifying credit and service, with the savings delivered through 24 monthly bill credits. T-Mobile Newsroom

- Triple rear camera system: 50MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide, and 2MP depth sensor for capturing sharp photos and HD videos in any light.
The announcement also listed an installment option at $8.33 per month for 24 months with $0 down at the $199.99 full retail price. Its stated new-line example required a plan costing at least $60 per month with AutoPay. Taxes and fees applied; tax on the pre-credit price and a $35 device connection charge were due at sale. Offer terms were described as limited time and subject to change.
Why “free” did not mean unconditional
The advertised device price was offset by recurring credits, not an unconditional upfront discount. T-Mobile’s terms said canceling the entire account could stop remaining credits and make the financed balance due. Paying off the device early also ended the bill credits. A buyer comparing offers needed to account for the qualifying service cost and the full credit period, not just the advertised phone price.

What should you check before choosing a T-Mobile phone promotion?
Promotions can look similar in an advertisement while requiring different commitments. Before signing up, verify the exact offer terms for your account and location, and compare the total cost of service as well as the device credit.

T-Mobile’s announcement described an upgraded Qualcomm processor, built-in Gemini AI, a larger battery with super-fast charging, a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a limited lifetime warranty, and five years of security updates.
