For a low-regret first purchase, unlock the first Increase EXP tier, then prioritize Class EXP and proficiency Boons that match the weapons and skills your army actually uses. That is a general-purpose order, not a proven universal optimum: recruitment plans, route, recurring spending and preferred difficulty can change what is most valuable.
How Boons of Salvation work
Notable Deeds award Karma Shards, which you spend on Boons. A fan reference describes Boons as save-wide purchases that carry between routes and can be turned on or off after purchase. It also distinguishes them from in-battle Blessings, which are separate effects that use a different resource. 1. Increase EXP, first tier
The September 24, 2026 AllThingsHow guide lists Increase EXP tiers of 10%, 30% and 50%, with the first tier costing 500 Karma Shards. It recommends buying that first tier early because the benefit applies broadly across battles and characters. 2. Increase Class EXP

3. Proficiency for the weapons and skills you use
Proficiency Boons add battle skill EXP. Choose categories that fit your deployed roster and planned certifications rather than buying every weapon category automatically. 4. Blessing discounts or Rich Deposits, if you use those systems

5. Discounts that match your routine

When to change the order
- You want faster overall growth: follow the EXP-first default, then add Class EXP and roster-relevant proficiency.
- You are recruiting: consider Gifts Discount earlier if gifts are a regular part of your recruitment plans.
- You spend Blessings often or want more dungeon materials: move Blessing discounts or Rich Deposits up according to which system you use.
- You are on Theodora’s route: the guide says Authority EXP matters only on that route, where battalions appear. Otherwise, it is not a general-purpose early pick.
- You want to preserve the challenge: delay EXP boosts if faster character or class progression would reduce the difficulty you want.
What this order does—and does not—establish
The purchase order is a practical reading of a September 2026 guide, not a controlled comparison or a player-tested ranking. It weighs broad benefit against route coverage, roster fit and how often you use systems with recurring costs. Because Boons are described as save-wide and toggleable, an early choice is less binding than a permanent, one-route-only upgrade; still, check the price and unlock condition shown in your current menu before spending shards.
