On January 13, 2025, Chrome Unboxed reported that Lenovo’s 8GB/128GB Chromebook Duet 11-inch was on sale for $289.99, a $110 discount. That was a near-low, not a record low: the same report cited a lower price of $274.99 in November 2024. The offer is historical; no current price or stock status is established here.
What the January 2025 price drop actually meant
Chrome Unboxed’s January 13, 2025 article called the discount the biggest price drop of 2025 as of that publication date. It reported a $289.99 price for the 8GB/128GB configuration, $110 below the price it used for comparison. The article also recounted a $274.99 low from November 2024, so the January offer did not beat that earlier price. Read Chrome Unboxed’s January 13, 2025 deal report.
That wording should not be read as a ranking for all of 2025, and $289.99 should not be treated as a live Lenovo Chromebook Duet 11 price. The cited deal report is not a current retailer feed, and a present-day price or availability was not established.

Lenovo’s US listing identifies model 83HH0001US as the Chromebook Duet Gen 9. Its listed configuration includes a MediaTek Kompanio 838 processor, 8GB of soldered memory and 128GB of eMMC storage. The listed touchscreen measures 10.95 inches and has a 1920 × 1200 resolution. Lenovo rates it at 400 nits; that brightness is a manufacturer specification, not an independent measurement cited here.
Keyboard, kickstand and pen
Lenovo describes the Duet as a convertible with a kickstand for laptop and portrait orientations. The US listing says a USI Pen 2 is included with model 83HH0001US, but Lenovo warns that pen inclusion applies only to selected models. Confirm the exact model number and box contents before assuming a pen is included or buying one separately.

Is the Lenovo Chromebook Duet 11 worth it under $300?
At the reported $289.99 historical price, the configuration paired 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage with a high-resolution touchscreen and a convertible kickstand design. Those are the concrete reasons the offer could appeal to someone who wants a compact Chromebook that can also be used tablet-style. The $289.99 figure is not a current quote, however, and the evidence here does not establish how it compares with today’s alternatives or whether a similar deal is available now.
Battery life is another consideration, but the available figure is Lenovo’s claim rather than a tested result: in its October 1, 2024 announcement, the company said the Duet offered “up to 12-hour battery life.” Actual endurance depends on use, and no independent test result is established here.
