The best esthetician website is not the one with the most elaborate animation. It is the one that makes a prospective client understand your specialty, location, treatment options, credibility and next step within seconds. A solo facialist needs a different site from a multi-provider clinic, a corrective-skincare practice or a product-led brand.

This guide groups the examples by business model and extracts the decisions worth reusing: service clarity, booking visibility, local cues, trust evidence, imagery and support for first-time clients. The 2026 roundups do not agree on the count—Colorlib’s headline says 29 while its introduction says 30—and they are editorial collections rather than controlled usability tests. The descriptions below therefore identify what each named example is useful for, not a ranking or conversion guarantee.

How to use an esthetician website example

Start with your business model, not a color palette. A design that works for a one-person studio can become confusing when several providers, locations and treatment menus are added. Conversely, a product-heavy skincare brand needs commerce and education that a local appointment-only practice may not need.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  1. Choose a close business model. Decide whether you are a solo practitioner, a team clinic, a specialist studio, a holistic practice, a corrective-skincare clinic, a luxury studio or a product-led brand.
  2. Audit the first screen. A visitor should see what you do, who you serve, where you operate and how to book or ask a question without hunting through menus.
  3. Inspect one treatment page. Look for plain-language suitability, duration, price, preparation, what happens during the appointment and aftercare.
  4. Separate inspiration from proof. A badge, review total or award shown on a roundup site is a claim by that business until you verify it directly.
  5. Rebuild the structure in your own voice. Copy the information architecture and decision logic, never another practitioner’s wording, photographs or claims.

Colorlib’s 2026 collection, SiteBuilderReport’s 20-example list and Zarla’s design guide repeatedly emphasize clear services, visible booking, relevant photography, contact details and social proof. Those are useful design observations, not measured evidence that any single layout increases bookings.

Solo practitioner websites: make the person the reason to book

Skin by Gabby

Skin by Gabby appears in both Colorlib and SiteBuilderReport, making it a useful reference when your reputation is attached to one practitioner. Study how a personal name can function as the brand while the homepage still answers practical questions: which concerns you treat, where appointments occur and what action a new client should take.

For your own version, put a short practitioner introduction near the first booking button, then link to a full About page with training, regulated credentials and a realistic description of your approach. Avoid burying the booking link under a biography.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Jodi Mello Esthetician and Sandra Velandia

These practitioner-named examples are relevant when clients choose you specifically rather than a large spa. A concise portrait, a clear service menu and a single booking route reduce the uncertainty that comes with an unfamiliar personal brand. Use a professional photo that reflects the treatment environment, not a generic stock image.

Include operating area, appointment availability, cancellation policy and a contact method that is monitored. If you work from a home studio or share a building, explain what a first-time visitor needs to know without publishing private information.

Kerry Spindler and The Good Esthetician

SiteBuilderReport includes both as practitioner examples. They are useful prompts for deciding how much education belongs on a solo site. Explain a treatment in client language, then offer deeper guidance for visitors who are comparing options. Educational content should end with a relevant consultation or booking choice rather than a dead end.

Multi-provider clinics and broader menus

Bespoke Aesthetics + Wellness

The name and roundup placement make Bespoke Aesthetics + Wellness a suitable model for a practice that combines aesthetics with wellness services. The structural challenge is scope: visitors must be able to tell whether they are booking a facial, a consultation or another type of appointment.

  • Let visitors choose a provider, location or treatment in a predictable order.
  • Keep one persistent booking button, while preserving direct links to each service.

Lineage Skin & Hair Studio

A combined skin-and-hair business needs navigation that does not force every visitor through the same menu. Use distinct top-level paths for Skin and Hair, then show shared information—location, hours, policies and contact—once. Cross-link only where a combined appointment is genuinely available.

Alkemesta Beauty Bar

A beauty-bar model often has a wide menu. Group services by client intent, such as facials, brows, lashes or packages, and show duration and price beside each option. A first-time visitor should not have to understand internal service names before finding a suitable appointment.

Spa by the Square

SiteBuilderReport and Colorlib both include Spa by the Square, with descriptions emphasizing findable booking and service information. For a spa-style site, test whether gift cards, packages, memberships or retail content compete with the primary appointment path. Put those options in secondary navigation if routine bookings are the main business.

Brow, lash and face-focused specialists

The Face Space

The Face Space is a useful reference for a narrow, face-focused offer. A specialist site can be visually distinctive, but its treatment taxonomy must remain explicit. Name the concern or outcome each service addresses, state who should avoid it, and link to a consultation when suitability depends on skin history.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Esthetics LA

SiteBuilderReport lists Esthetics LA among its examples. A city-based specialist should make its service area unmistakable: city and neighborhood, nearby landmark or parking guidance, and whether clients travel from surrounding areas. Do not assume that a map alone communicates location; write the place in text for scanning and accessibility.

Shannon Lee Esthetics

Zarla highlights a treatment-in-progress hero image and the phrase “SELF LOVE ISN’T SELFISH.” The useful lesson is not the slogan itself but the pairing of an emotional promise with a photograph that shows the service context. Use a similar approach only if the message is true to your positioning, and make sure the image has meaningful alternative text.

Holistic and wellness-led studios

Holistic Skin by Jen

Holistic Skin by Jen is named by Colorlib as a holistic example. Wellness language can differentiate a practice, but visitors still need concrete information. Translate broad promises into a treatment sequence, expected sensations, appointment length, preparation and aftercare. Explain which claims are cosmetic, which are experiential and which require medical advice from another professional.

  • What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.

Healing Vibes Esthetics

Healing Vibes Esthetics offers another wellness-oriented naming model. A calm visual system can support the brand, but do not let atmospheric photography replace navigation. Keep the booking control visually prominent, use readable contrast and provide a text alternative for visitors who do not interpret imagery easily.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Corrective-skincare and results-oriented clinics

Rose + Honey Skincare

Zarla describes Rose + Honey with the location line “San Diego · Solana Beach,” the phrase “Custom Corrective Treatments” and review or credential claims. This combination demonstrates how a corrective practice can lead with both geography and a specific treatment promise. Before publishing similar claims, verify the exact wording, source and date of every credential, award and review total with the business or awarding organization.

Corrective pages should set expectations responsibly. Include consultation requirements, contraindications, realistic time frames, home-care responsibilities and a statement distinguishing cosmetic services from diagnosis or medical treatment. Before-and-after images need consent, consistent conditions and captions that do not imply a guaranteed result.

Luxury, atmospheric and product-led brands

Oil of Pearls

Oil of Pearls is listed by Colorlib and can be studied as a brand-led skincare direction. If your identity is built around oils, rituals or a signature sensory experience, explain how products relate to in-studio services. A visitor should be able to buy an item, learn how to use it and book an appointment without confusing those journeys.

Shani Darden Skin Care

Colorlib reports Shopify for Shani Darden Skin Care. Treat that platform reference as a starting point, not a current audit: integrations, themes and checkout behavior can change. A product-led site should make product categories, ingredients, usage instructions, shipping or returns and professional services distinct. Keep consultation and booking accessible from the shop rather than assuming every visitor arrives through a product page.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Visual direction across the examples

The roundups describe minimalist, dark and atmospheric, holistic, luxury, corrective and inclusive approaches. There is no universal esthetician style. Choose type size, color contrast, photography and motion according to the clientele and the information they need. Luxury does not require sparse pages if sparse pages hide prices or policies; a calm site can still be highly explicit.

The homepage elements first-time clients need

Reader questions in a May 2026 practitioner discussion include finding a free booking website and deciding what belongs beyond availability, treatments and prices. The practical answer is to treat the homepage as a routing page, not a brochure.

Build treatment pages that answer the real questions

A treatment page should let a visitor decide “Is this for me?” before asking them to choose a time. The practitioner discussion cited above specifically mentions suitability, duration, what to expect, preparation and aftercare; include those details in a consistent order.

  1. Outcome and suitability: describe the concern or experience in plain language and identify suitable clients.
  2. What happens: outline consultation, treatment stages and approximate hands-on time.
  3. Preparation: list products, sun exposure, hair removal or medication questions that affect eligibility.
  4. Price and duration: state whether the price is fixed, starts at a base amount or requires consultation.
  5. Aftercare: give immediate and next-day guidance, plus a contact route for unexpected reactions.
  6. Booking choice: link directly to the correct appointment type or explain why a consultation comes first.

Use the same labels across services so visitors can compare them. If a treatment is not appropriate for every skin type or condition, say so plainly and direct the visitor to professional advice.

Booking, platform and integration decisions

Colorlib’s descriptions mention booking connections such as Mindbody, Vagaro, Mango Mint, Boulevard and Square, and associate many examples with Squarespace; it reports Shopify for Shani Darden Skin Care. SiteBuilderReport also references platforms including WordPress, Wix and Shopify. These are secondary-source descriptions, not current technical audits. Open the live site before asserting that a platform or integration is still in use.

When comparing booking options, evaluate the workflow rather than the logo:

  • Can a new client select the right service without knowing internal terminology?
  • Does the system collect intake information and consent securely?
  • Can you set buffers, deposits, cancellation rules and provider availability?
  • Are confirmations, reminders and rescheduling clear on mobile?
  • Can the booking link be reached from every treatment page and the contact page?
  • What happens when a visitor has a suitability question instead of a ready-to-book decision?

A “free” booking option may still have limits, payment-processing charges or restricted branding. Compare the complete workflow and terms that apply to your region and business size before moving your calendar.

Trust signals: useful only when they can be checked

Roundup descriptions mention awards, review counts, credentials and before-and-after material. None of the reviewed sources provides an independent statistic suitable for quoting, and marketing figures should not be presented as neutral evidence. Link or label each claim so a visitor can understand its source.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • Use the awarding organization’s exact name and award year.
  • Display a review count only with the platform and date, and keep it current.
  • List licenses, certifications and training accurately, including issuing bodies.
  • Obtain written permission for testimonials and identifiable treatment photographs.
  • Do not imply that a testimonial proves a guaranteed result for every client.

Accessibility and mobile checks before launch

Most appointment decisions happen on a phone, often after someone finds a local service through social media or search. Test the site at narrow widths and with keyboard navigation.

A practical launch checklist

  1. Write one positioning sentence naming your specialty and service area.
  2. Choose three to six primary services and create a page for each.
  3. Add duration, price, suitability, preparation, aftercare and booking action to every treatment page.
  4. Place location, hours, access notes and policies in the footer and contact page.
  5. Verify every credential, award, review count and before-and-after permission.
  6. Test booking from the homepage, a treatment page and a phone-sized screen.
  7. Ask someone unfamiliar with your practice to find a suitable treatment and explain the next step.
  8. Review platform, integration, service and location details directly on the live site whenever a roundup is used as inspiration.

What the 2026 examples do—and do not—prove

The named sites are useful visual and structural references, but the source articles are editorial roundups. They do not establish that a particular color scheme, platform, slogan or booking integration caused more conversions. SiteBuilderReport discloses affiliate commissions, and Zarla promotes its own builder and templates, so treat their recommendations as commercial editorial context. The strongest transferable lesson across the collections is simpler: match the site to the practice, explain services in client language, make location and booking obvious, and support trust claims with evidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many examples are actually in the 2026 roundups?

Colorlib’s headline says 29 while its introduction says 30, and other lists use different totals. Treat the number as a roundup label, verify the live entries and focus on the business model each site represents.

What should an esthetician put on a treatment page besides price and availability?

Explain who the treatment suits, duration, what happens, preparation, contraindications, aftercare and the correct booking or consultation route.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Can I use a free booking website?

Possibly, but compare limits, payment fees, reminders, intake forms, deposits, cancellation rules and regional terms rather than judging by the word “free” alone.

Should my site show review counts or awards?

Only when the claim is accurate, current and attributable. Include the issuing organization or review platform and avoid implying guaranteed results.

The Bottom Line

Choose the example that matches your practice, then copy its decision structure: clear positioning, specific treatment pages, visible location, credible proof and an unmistakable booking path.
