For broad multichain browsing, OpenSea is a useful starting point; Blur targets active Ethereum traders, Tensor focuses on Solana, and SuperRare and Foundation specialize in digital art. This guide compares nine platforms in a current roundup, adds Magic Eden and Zora using their current help documentation, and discusses LooksRare separately because its current details could not be verified.
The comparison reflects research checked on August 7, 2026. “Best” depends on your blockchain, use case, fees, and the specific collection; this is not a definitive ranking.

Fee figures above are reported by the Coin Bureau 2026 marketplace roundup, except where noted; they are not guaranteed checkout quotes. Fees can exclude gas, creator royalties, payment-provider charges, or wallet costs. Check the platform’s live fee and checkout information before transacting.
The 11 options explained
1. OpenSea: best general-purpose marketplace
OpenSea is an accessible starting point for browsing collections across several chains. Its supported networks include Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Base, Solana, Flow and Ronin, among others, according to the Coin Bureau roundup.

Coin Bureau reports a 1% NFT selling fee, a 10% fee for minting in a primary Drop, and a 0.85% swap fee. These apply to different activities. Confirm the current fee schedule before listing.
How to list an NFT on OpenSea
- Open your profile, an individual item page, or a collection page.
- On an item page, switch to Sell.
- Choose Accept offer or List for sale.
- Set the price and review options such as Reserve, Adjust for fees, Set price to floor, Creator earnings, and Listing duration.
- Confirm the wallet transaction.
OpenSea documents listing durations from 15 minutes to six months. Bulk listings are limited to items on the same chain. On a collection page, use the bottom-bar Sell mode, select items, and choose Accept offer or List item. See OpenSea’s selling instructions for current details.
OpenSea Drops show the creator, mint schedule, sample gallery and, once activity starts, live mints and sales. A failed mint can still consume gas if the supply sells out while your transaction is pending. For delayed reveals, open the item and select Refresh metadata; OpenSea confirms the request with “We’ve queued this item for an update!” See OpenSea’s Drop documentation.
Security warning: OpenSea says it will never ask you to send funds to fix a failed sale. A supposed buyer asking for money or sending a screenshot of an error is a phishing signal. See OpenSea’s selling instructions.
2. Blur: best for active Ethereum traders
Blur is built for speed rather than casual browsing. Its tools emphasize collection bids, sweeps, liquidity and trading analytics, making it more suitable for someone managing several positions than for a first-time collector.
The Coin Bureau roundup reports a 0% marketplace fee and primarily Ethereum support. That does not mean every transaction is free: gas, royalties and wallet-related costs can still apply. Blur’s interface and rewards mechanics can also be harder to interpret than a simple fixed-price marketplace.
3. Tensor: best Solana trading platform
Tensor is the Solana-focused choice for collectors and traders who want fast execution, market-making tools, liquidity and AMM-style features. The Coin Bureau roundup reports 0% maker fee and 2% taker fee, with royalties depending on collection settings.

Choose Tensor when the NFT collection is on Solana and trading efficiency matters more than a beginner-oriented interface. The available research does not verify a current Tensor minting path or exact button labels, so check its current interface before following step-by-step instructions or sending funds.
4. SuperRare: best for curated crypto art
SuperRare is closer to a digital-art gallery than a broad collectibles market. It focuses on curated work, commonly single-edition pieces, rather than offering the widest possible range of profile-picture collections and game items.
The Coin Bureau roundup reports a 3% marketplace fee paid by the buyer. For primary sales, the artist receives 85%. On secondary sales, the seller receives 90% and the original artist receives a 10% royalty. Ethereum is supported; although Base support has been announced for parts of the ecosystem, NFT minting on Base was not live in the reviewed information.
5. Foundation: best for creator-led art
Foundation is an art-first platform supporting Ethereum and Base. It suits artists and collectors who prefer a creator-led presentation instead of a giant multichain catalog.
The Coin Bureau roundup reports 15% on primary sales, leaving 85% for the creator, and 5% on secondary sales, split as 2.5% to the buyer and 2.5% to the seller. Verify the final checkout breakdown for a particular listing. The available evidence does not verify Foundation’s current minting or listing button labels.
6. Rarible: best for multichain creation
Rarible supports a broad selection of networks, including Ethereum, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, RARI Chain, Immutable X, zkSync Era, Aptos, Celo, Moonbeam, Hedera EVM and others. This can be useful when a project’s preferred chain is not Ethereum mainnet.
Rarible does not charge a platform fee to create an NFT, although blockchain gas can still apply. The Coin Bureau roundup reports a tiered service-fee schedule: 7.5% per side for $0–$100, 5% for $100–$400, 2.5% for $400–$2,000, 1% for $2,000–$4,000, and 0.5% above $4,000. It also reports a possible 1.5% seller charge. Because the current purchase-help page could not be fetched from the available evidence, confirm live checkout labels and fee calculations inside Rarible.

7. Binance NFT: best for Binance users and low listing costs
Binance NFT supports BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum and Polygon. The Coin Bureau roundup reports a 1% seller platform fee, with no listing fee. It may be convenient if your funds and identity verification already sit within the Binance ecosystem.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesBefore using it, check whether the collection, country and account level are eligible. The available material does not verify current Binance NFT menu names, minting eligibility or the exact purchase flow.
8. NBA Top Shot: best for licensed basketball Moments
NBA Top Shot is not a general NFT marketplace. It sells officially licensed NBA digital collectibles called Moments, and it runs on Flow. That closed focus is its advantage: buyers know the content is tied to NBA players, games and official licensing.
The Coin Bureau roundup reports a 5% marketplace fee per sale, while listing and delisting a Moment carry no fee. Choose Top Shot if you want sports collecting, not if you need to mint arbitrary artwork or trade NFTs from unrelated chains.
9. Mintable: best for a gasless Ethereum mint
Mintable’s Gasless Store lets creators mint ERC-721 NFTs directly on Ethereum mainnet without paying the minting gas themselves. The Coin Bureau roundup reports a 2.5% creator fee for that model; Mintology stores are also reported at 2.5%. Traditional minting costs vary by setup and network conditions.

10. Magic Eden: best for multichain discovery and Solana activity
Magic Eden’s current marketplace trading help center describes buying, selling and discovery across multiple blockchains. Its support categories cover an NFT aggregator, Solana NFT selling, trait-based offers, item-level offers, collection offers, listing cancellation or changes, floor-price warnings, optional royalties, Metaplex Certified Collection verification and AMM pools.

It is a candidate when you want to compare listings across ecosystems or trade Solana NFTs. The navigation documentation also refers to a sidebar, wallet management, collection pages and a watchlist. The retrieved material does not expose exact click-by-click labels for each current flow, so consult the individual Magic Eden help article for your chain rather than relying on an old tutorial.
11. Zora: best understood as a social coin platform
Zora belongs in a current comparison only with an important correction: its current model is not the conventional NFT minting marketplace many older guides describe. Zora says every post is now an instantly tradeable coin with a supply of 1 billion, and creators automatically receive 10 million coins at launch. Its help documentation calls these assets ERC-20 representations of user-created Zora posts. See Zora’s current platform information and trading instructions.
To trade, open the coin, select Buy or Sell, choose a currency, enter a custom or preset amount, review the displayed Blockchain fee and either Estimated amount or Minimum received, then confirm the corresponding action.
Zora’s Quick Buy setting is at Profile → Settings → Quick Buy. You can choose ETH on Base, USDC on Base or $ZORA, enter an amount and select Save. The minimum Quick Buy amount is $0.20. Current documentation also mentions USDC and ZORA gas payments, USD gas displays, Coinbase web on-ramp support and an Activity tab replacing Rewards. These details are from Zora’s trading help and platform update.
LooksRare: not verified enough to recommend
LooksRare appears in older and academic marketplace research, but the available current evidence does not verify its operating status, present fees, minting capability, supported chains or interface as of August 2026. It would be misleading to present historical claims as current or call it one of the best verified marketplaces.
If you encounter LooksRare in an older “top NFT platforms” article, check the official site, current documentation and recent transaction activity before connecting a wallet. Do not transfer funds based solely on an outdated comparison.

How to choose an NFT marketplace
- Identify the blockchain first. An Ethereum NFT cannot normally be purchased with a Solana wallet on a Solana-only marketplace. Confirm the collection’s chain before depositing funds.
- Separate minting from secondary sales. A primary mint may have a creator fee, marketplace fee and gas cost. A later resale may use a different fee structure and royalty setting.
- Calculate the complete cost. Include the NFT price, platform fee, creator royalty, blockchain gas, card or on-ramp charge and any withdrawal fee.
- Check royalty behavior. Some platforms describe royalties as optional or collection-dependent. The displayed seller proceeds matter more than a headline fee.
- Use the platform’s current help center. Wallet and marketplace interfaces change. Exact labels in a video from 2023 may no longer exist.
- Protect the wallet. Bookmark the real domain, inspect the contract address, avoid unsolicited support messages and never reveal a seed phrase or sign an unexplained transaction.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming “free mint” means zero cost: gas can still apply, and a failed or sold-out transaction may still consume gas. OpenSea documents this failure case in its Drop help article.
- Expecting an immediate reveal: some collections intentionally delay metadata. Use the marketplace’s refresh function only after checking the project’s stated reveal schedule.
- Sending money to fix a sale: legitimate marketplace support should not require payment to unlock a supposed buyer transaction. OpenSea says it will never ask you to send funds to resolve a failed sale; see its selling instructions.
- Comparing fees without comparing who pays: SuperRare’s reported marketplace fee is buyer-paid, while other platforms may deduct charges from sellers or apply different fees by transaction type.
- Calling every platform an NFT marketplace: NBA Top Shot is a Flow-based sports collectibles platform, while Zora’s current assets are tradeable coins tied to posts.
Which NFT marketplace should you use?
Use OpenSea for broad general-purpose, multichain browsing; Blur for high-volume Ethereum trading; and Tensor for advanced Solana activity. Choose SuperRare or Foundation for curated digital art, NBA Top Shot for official NBA Moments, and Rarible or Mintable when creator tools and minting matter most. Magic Eden is worth checking for multichain discovery and Solana listings. Treat Zora as a social coin platform rather than a standard NFT minting site, and treat LooksRare as unverified until current official information confirms otherwise.

FAQ
What is the best NFT marketplace overall?
OpenSea is a strong general-purpose choice because it supports many networks and offers broad discovery and selling tools. It is not automatically the cheapest option, so compare the final fees with Blur, Tensor, Rarible or another chain-specific platform.
Which NFT marketplace has the lowest fees?
The Coin Bureau roundup reports Blur at 0% marketplace fees, Binance NFT at a 1% seller platform fee, and Mintable at 2.5% for its Gasless Store. These figures do not necessarily include gas, royalties or payment costs, and they can change.

Sometimes a platform may cover or defer minting gas, as with Mintable’s reported Gasless Store model, but free does not mean cost-free in every situation. Marketplace charges, later sale fees, wallet transactions and blockchain costs may still apply.
Is Zora still an NFT marketplace?
Zora’s current documentation describes every post as an instantly tradeable coin and calls the assets ERC-20 representations of posts. Older guides that describe Zora simply as an NFT minting marketplace are outdated.
What happens if an OpenSea mint fails?
A mint can fail if a limited supply sells out while your transaction is pending, and the blockchain may still charge gas. OpenSea also warns that it will never ask you to send funds to resolve a failed sale.
Which marketplace is best for NBA collectibles?
NBA Top Shot is the specialist option. It sells officially licensed NBA Moments on Flow and is not a general-purpose, cross-chain NFT marketplace.
