Short answer: the strongest documented choices are Porter Metrics for cross-platform marketing work, HubSpot’s remote MCP server for HubSpot data and actions, and Google Analytics MCP for read-only Analytics analysis. Current first-party documentation does not support a defensible ranking of ten comparable, dedicated marketing MCP servers. Rather than pad the list with general integrations, this guide explains the three verified fits, the jobs they cover, their read/write limits, setup requirements, and the checks to make before connecting an AI client.
What a marketing MCP server actually does
Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a connection layer between an AI client—such as an MCP-compatible desktop assistant, IDE, or agent—and a service. The server exposes selected tools and data; the client decides when to call them. A server’s name does not tell you whether it can edit campaigns, publish content, or only return reports. Those boundaries come from the vendor’s tools, OAuth scopes, account roles, and confirmation rules.
The three recommendations below are based on current first-party documentation checked on September 30, 2026. They are not a performance benchmark, security audit, or hands-on test. Documentation does not provide a common price basis, reliability comparison, or independent value ranking.

Best MCP servers for marketing by job
| Pick | Best for | Data and actions documented | Connection model |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Porter Metrics MCP Server | Cross-platform reporting and workflows | Queries and blends connected sources, hosted reports, and a broad action catalog; destructive actions prompt for confirmation | Remote service with OAuth; requires an account and at least one authorized source |
| 2. HubSpot remote MCP server | HubSpot CRM, content, and marketing context | Reads CRM, activities, marketing content, analytics, and email data; selected CRM, page, blog, campaign, and email-draft writes | Remote account server using OAuth with PKCE |
| 3. Google Analytics MCP | Analytics reporting and planning | Account/property details, standard and funnel reports, realtime reports, custom dimensions and metrics | Google-hosted connection or local repository; read-only requests |
The remaining seven slots in the requested “top 10” cannot be filled responsibly from the available vendor documentation. Notion, Atlassian, Asana, and Zapier appear in HubSpot’s MCP Client material as external integrations for HubSpot agents, not as dedicated marketing MCP servers. Google Cloud’s MCP controls are infrastructure, not a marketing connector. Treating any of these as standalone entries would make the ranking misleading.
#1 Best Overall
1. Porter Metrics MCP Server: best for multi-source marketing work
Porter’s documentation describes a remote MCP server built around connected marketing sources. Listed connector categories include advertising, social insights, analytics, Search Console, ecommerce, CRM, email, databases, and spreadsheets. Named sources include Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, GA4, Shopify, Amazon Seller, HubSpot, Klaviyo, and Mailchimp. See the Porter Metrics documentation for the current catalog.
What it can do
- Query or blend data from authorized sources.
- Create and share hosted reports.
- Use a catalog of marketing operations across the connected systems.
- Request confirmation for destructive actions such as modifying a live campaign.
Porter’s documentation reports 32 connectors and 750+ catalog operations, recorded in 2026. These are vendor-stated catalog counts at documentation access time, not an independent audit or quality score. The same material describes 28 fixed tools plus five groups and a larger action catalog.
Setup and permissions
- Create a Porter account.
- Connect at least one supported source through the OAuth flow.
- Authorize only the accounts and roles the agent needs.
- Connect your MCP-compatible client to Porter’s remote server using the vendor’s current instructions.
- Before allowing writes, verify the connector’s fields, action support, billing implications, and account permissions.
Porter says identity and account roles limit what an agent can access and that third-party tokens are held server-side by Porter. That statement does not mean Porter owns or operates the underlying advertising, analytics, or CRM services.

Choose it when a workflow must combine several platforms—for example, comparing paid-media spend with GA4 conversions and ecommerce revenue, then producing a shared report. It is less suitable when your requirement is a single-system connection with tightly controlled scopes or when a connector’s exact fields have not been verified.
2. HubSpot remote MCP server: best for HubSpot users
HubSpot documents a remote MCP server that connects an MCP-compatible client to a HubSpot account over OAuth. The primary references are the HubSpot MCP overview and remote-server integration documentation.
Rank #2
Documented read access
- CRM records and activities.
- Marketing content and content analytics.
- Marketing email data.
- Other account information exposed by the granted scopes and available objects.
Documented write access
HubSpot lists selected writes, including creating or editing certain CRM records, creating, editing, or publishing website pages and blog posts, managing campaigns, and creating or updating marketing email drafts. Availability depends on OAuth scopes, the user’s HubSpot permissions, account setup, and whether the object is available in that account. It is not unrestricted access to every HubSpot object or an autonomous marketing-automation agent.
Security and data boundaries
OAuth uses PKCE. If an account has Sensitive Data enabled, HubSpot says certain activity and conversation data are blocked through the MCP server. The server is based on CRM search, and the referenced API currently lacks vector search. Ask a HubSpot administrator to confirm scopes, roles, protected-data settings, and approval requirements before connecting customer information.

Remote versus local HubSpot MCP
HubSpot distinguishes this remote account server from its local Developer MCP server, which is intended for developer-platform work. Use the remote server for account context; do not assume the local developer server exposes marketing records.
3. Google Analytics MCP: best for read-only Analytics analysis
Google’s developer documentation shows how to connect Google Analytics data to an LLM for questions such as user counts, top-selling products, and data-informed marketing plans. The page was last updated September 16, 2025 UTC and states: The server is available for read requests only. It can’t edit your Google Analytics configuration or settings.
Read the Google Analytics MCP documentation.
Capabilities and setup
The linked official GitHub repository labels its local server Experimental. It documents tools for account and property details, reports, funnel reports, realtime reports, and custom dimensions and metrics. Setup requires credentials with an Analytics read-only scope and access to the relevant Analytics account or property.
What read-only means in practice
An agent can retrieve and analyze Analytics data, explain trends, and help draft a plan from those results. It cannot edit Analytics configuration or settings through this server. If your workflow must change audiences, events, properties, or other configuration, you need a separate authorized process.
Do you need one MCP server per marketing platform?
Not always. A cross-platform server such as Porter can reduce connector sprawl when its supported sources and fields match your workflow. A specialist server is usually clearer when one system is the source of truth: HubSpot for CRM and content operations, or Google Analytics for reporting. You can also combine servers in a client, but each connection brings its own OAuth flow, scopes, data handling, and failure modes.
Use this decision sequence
- Define the job. Is it reporting, CRM context, content work, campaign management, or a write action?
- List required systems and fields. “Connect ads” is not precise enough; identify the account, object, dimensions, metrics, and date range.
- Mark read versus write. Treat publishing, campaign edits, and record changes as separate approvals.
- Check the connection model. Remote servers need vendor account and OAuth setup; local servers add runtime, credential, and update responsibilities.
- Verify governance. Confirm roles, sensitive-data restrictions, token storage claims, confirmation prompts, and audit requirements.
- Test with a least-privilege account. Start with a narrow property, portal, or ad account and read-only scopes where possible.
Integrations that should not be called marketing MCP servers
HubSpot’s MCP Client documentation lists Notion, Atlassian, Asana, and Zapier as MCP servers that can connect external systems to HubSpot agents. Examples include querying or updating Notion pages, interacting with Jira and Confluence, managing Asana tasks, and triggering or monitoring Zapier automations. Each has different setup requirements and capabilities; the page does not establish that any is a purpose-built marketing server. See HubSpot’s MCP Client documentation.
For governed Google environments, Google Cloud’s MCP overview covers authentication, IAM policies, toolsets, and Model Armor for Google and Google Cloud remote servers. Those controls are useful evaluation criteria, not a marketing-server recommendation.
Operational checklist before you authorize an agent
- Confirm the exact vendor endpoint and client compatibility.
- Review OAuth scopes and remove unused permissions.
- Separate reporting credentials from publishing or campaign-edit credentials.
- Check whether sensitive records are blocked, filtered, or exposed.
- Require confirmation for destructive actions and review the final payload.
- Log agent requests and resulting changes where your platform supports it.
- Start with a test account and a small date range.
- Revoke tokens when a project or employee access ends.
Or skip the browser setup
If the marketing workflow also needs page screenshots—for example, documenting landing-page changes or attaching visual evidence to a report—ScreenshotNeo is a separate website screenshot API and MCP server for developers. It removes cookie/consent banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, and response headers identify the page verdict and billing status. Its MCP tools—take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf—work with Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients.
One GET request returns PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF. For a direct image request, see the ScreenshotNeo API documentation:
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
The same request in Python:
import requests
r = requests.get("https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot", params={"access_key": "YOUR_API_KEY", "url": "https://stripe.com"}, timeout=90)
open("shot.webp", "wb").write(r.content)
And Node.js:
const q = new URLSearchParams({ access_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY', url: 'https://stripe.com' });
const res = await fetch(`https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot?${q}`);
ScreenshotNeo includes full-page and element capture, device presets, custom viewports, retina scale, PDF controls, custom CSS and JavaScript, clicks, waits, request blocking, headers, cookies, user agents, authorization, timezone, geolocation, transparent backgrounds, resizing, configurable caching, signed links, async webhooks, bulk capture of up to 100 URLs per call, a usage API, and an OpenAPI specification. Parameter names used by other screenshot APIs also work. Every feature is on every plan: 1,000 shots per month are free with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots. The client cannot connect
Check that the client supports MCP and that you used the vendor’s current remote endpoint or local startup command. For remote services, repeat OAuth and confirm that the callback completed in the same browser session.
The tool is visible but returns no records
Usually the token can authenticate but lacks access to the selected account, property, portal, or object. Ask an administrator to verify role assignments, scopes, and the requested date range.
A write action is missing
Read and write tools are commonly separated by scopes and permissions. HubSpot’s documented writes are selective, while Google Analytics MCP is read-only. Reauthorize only after confirming the specific action is supported.
Sensitive data is unavailable in HubSpot
HubSpot states that some activity and conversation data are blocked when Sensitive Data is enabled. Review the account setting and use an approved workflow for protected information.
Analytics results differ from another report
Check property selection, timezone, attribution settings, dimensions, metrics, filters, and date boundaries. An MCP server returns the source system’s definitions; it does not normalize every platform’s terminology.
A screenshot is not clean
For ScreenshotNeo, inspect the X-Page-Verdict and X-Billed response headers. Consent handling, popup removal, and chat-widget removal can each be turned off when a page requires the original state.

Choose Porter Metrics for documented multi-source marketing workflows, HubSpot’s remote server for HubSpot account work, and Google Analytics MCP when read-only Analytics analysis is enough. The evidence does not justify seven additional “best” entries or a numerical winner based on price, speed, or reliability. Match the server to the exact data and action boundary, authorize the minimum permissions, and verify every connector before allowing an agent to write.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these MCP servers free?
The cited documentation does not establish a comparable price for Porter Metrics or HubSpot, and it provides no common pricing basis. Google Analytics is part of Google’s Analytics ecosystem; check the applicable Google account and usage terms.
Can Google Analytics MCP change campaigns or Analytics settings?
No. Google for Developers explicitly describes the server as available for read requests only; it cannot edit Google Analytics configuration or settings.
Is HubSpot’s MCP server the same as its Developer MCP server?
No. HubSpot documents the remote account server for account data and actions, while the local Developer MCP server is for developer-platform work.
