The TESWAY X9 Ultra is advertised with 4,000W of combined peak motor power, but its current US product page does not support a 120-mile range claim. TESWAY lists up to 100 miles in single-motor mode and 50–70 miles in dual-motor mode. Those are manufacturer estimates, not independently tested results.
What does “4,000W” mean on the TESWAY X9 Ultra?
TESWAY describes the X9 Ultra as a 60V dual-motor e-bike. Its US specification lists two motors rated at 1,200W each, with 2,000W peak output per motor. That makes 2,400W the combined rated power and 4,000W the combined peak figure. Peak output should not be read as continuous rated power.
The same page lists 120 N·m of torque per motor, or 240 N·m combined, five pedal-assist levels, and a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain. TESWAY lists a maximum speed of 43 mph and a default speed of 15 mph; neither figure is an independently verified test result. See the TESWAY US product page for its current specifications.
What is the max range of X9 Ultra ebikes?
For the current US listing, TESWAY specifies a 60V 30Ah battery and estimates 70–100 miles in single-motor mode or 50–70 miles in dual-motor mode. The page does not establish 120 miles as the range of the current US configuration, so it is not a sound figure to expect from that version—especially when using both motors.

TESWAY’s UK page gives a different single-motor maximum: 70–120 miles, while retaining a 50–70-mile dual-motor range and a 60V 30Ah battery. Do not combine that regional figure with the US listing as if they were one confirmed specification. Check the market and exact version being sold. The UK figures are on TESWAY’s UK product page.
Both pages present manufacturer claims rather than independent range tests. Actual distance depends on use. The US product FAQ identifies load, tire pressure, terrain, and weather as factors; the X9 AWD manual also says rough roads and hills, frequent speed changes, and greater carried weight use more energy. Correct tire inflation and pedaling can help extend range. Consult the TESWAY X9 AWD instruction manual for its operating guidance; confirm that it matches your bike’s version.

What equipment and carrying capacity does it list?
The US page describes full suspension with a hydraulic front fork, four-piston hydraulic brakes, 26 × 4.0-inch Kenda fat tires, a removable battery, and a 400 lb maximum payload. It also lists fenders, a headlight, a horn, a display, reflectors, and NFC cards among the included items, alongside the bike, battery, charger, manual, toolkit, seat, and pedals.

Weight information also differs between page sections and search snippets. Verify the exact revision with the seller or manufacturer before relying on rotor size or bike weight.

What safety and water-resistance claims should buyers check?
TESWAY states that the e-bike system is UL 2849 certified by TÜV and the battery is UL 2271 certified. These are manufacturer statements; verify the certification records for the specific model and battery if certification is important to your purchase.
The manufacturer FAQ calls the bike IPX6 water-resistant but advises against heavy downpours and submersion. Water resistance is not permission to ride through every wet condition or to immerse the bike. The manual also says local laws apply and advises checking whether full-power mode is allowed. Since e-bike rules depend on location, confirm the requirements where you plan to ride rather than assuming the listed speed or power is legal there.

How should a new rider approach its acceleration?
The X9 AWD manual warns riders not to pedal hard immediately after getting on, because pedal assist can accelerate the bike before an inexperienced rider is prepared. Start cautiously and practice in a controlled area before using stronger assist or full-power operation.

For a comparison with another e-bike, use the same market and version and compare rated power with rated power, peak with peak, and range under the same motor mode. Published maximum range alone is not a like-for-like performance test.
