Shanghai-based AI infrastructure provider Infinigence AI has reportedly confidentially filed for a Hong Kong IPO and could list as early as the first half of 2027, according to an October 1, 2026 Bloomberg report citing people familiar with the matter. The company has not publicly confirmed the filing or timetable; Bloomberg said a spokesperson declined to comment. The reported plan is not a confirmed offering, and its timing and size could change.
What is reported about Infinigence’s IPO?
Bloomberg’s unnamed sources said Infinigence had confidentially filed in recent months for a Hong Kong listing and was preparing to go public as early as the first half of 2027. The sources said it was seeking to raise several hundred million US dollars. The target and timing were still being finalized, so neither should be treated as a settled deal term.

What does Infinigence AI do?
Infinigence is a Shanghai-based provider of AI cloud infrastructure. It supplies data-center computing capacity to technology companies and smaller developers for training and running AI models. Bloomberg described demand for computing resources used by models and AI agents as the commercial rationale for the potential listing.

An October 2026 briefing by The Information, which attributed its account to Bloomberg, said Infinigence’s infrastructure uses chips from Chinese suppliers including Huawei and Moore Threads Technology. The reports do not specify chip models, supplier contract terms, capacity, performance, or revenue.

Bloomberg’s sources put Infinigence’s pre-offering valuation at RMB14.3 billion and said it had raised RMB4.3 billion cumulatively since its founding in 2023. These are reported figures attributed to unnamed sources, not audited disclosures from the company.

Why Hong Kong is relevant—and what is not known
Hong Kong’s Chapter 18C provides a listing route for specialist technology companies, including businesses in artificial intelligence, robotics and semiconductors. In a May 20, 2026 overview, HKEX said specialist issuers can file confidentially. It also described market-capitalization thresholds for commercial and pre-commercial companies as temporarily reduced from August 2024 through August 2027.
That market framework does not establish that Infinigence qualifies under Chapter 18C or intends to use it. The Bloomberg account did not identify the listing chapter the company may pursue.
HKEX reported six Chapter 18C listings in the first quarter of 2026, raising a combined US$2.5 billion. Those exchange figures show activity under the route during that quarter; they do not indicate whether Infinigence’s reported offering will proceed, attract demand or succeed. See HKEX’s Q1 2026 market update.

The reports describe a proposed IPO, not a completed filing available for public review or a confirmed schedule. The figures for valuation, fundraising and potential proceeds all come from Bloomberg’s unnamed sources. The available reporting also does not establish revenue, profitability, customer concentration, computing capacity, or the terms and security of chip supply.
Until the company or a public filing provides those details, the reported valuation and fundraising target should be read as early deal context, not as a basis for comparing confirmed issuer terms. There is no verified prospectus in the cited accounts from which to assess financial performance or offering risks.
