Teja Sajja is making his reality-show hosting debut with The Traitors Telugu, and he says the contest’s uncertainty reaches the host as well as the players. The 10-episode series, produced by SOL Production, is announced for Prime Video with 20 celebrity contestants. Its reported premiere is October 15, 2026, with new episodes scheduled Thursdays at 12 noon IST.

“And honestly, as a host, this game is as unpredictable for me as it is for the contestants. You can walk into a room thinking you know exactly who you can trust and, a few minutes later, everything flips,” Teja said in a statement reported by Bollywood Hungama and IANS.

He described the appeal as “the lies, the mind games, the unexpected alliances, and those moments of constant second-guessing.” His point is that hosting does not mean having a settled view of who is trustworthy: the situation can change as the contestants make their moves.

The announced format places contestants in two groups: hidden Traitors and Innocents. The Innocents try to identify the Traitors, while the Traitors try to avoid detection. The premise puts trust and alliances under pressure, but the announcement does not establish further rules or outcomes.

Reported contestant names include Chinmayee Sripada, Harsha Vardhan, Pragathi Mahavadi, Shreedevi Chowdary, Nikhil Vijayendra Simha, Vidyu Raman, Vishnu Oi, Shravya Varma, Dr Meghanath Reddy, Mouneesha Chowdary, Sweekar Agasthi, Ashika Padukone, Varsha D’Souza, Pranav (also identified as Abhinavakavi), SS Vardhan, Rahat Achanta, Gaurav Sunil, Sai Ronak, Puppala Dhanunjaya and Phalguni Bangera. Spellings may differ between reports, so the official show materials are the best reference for the final roster.
