The TCL 65RP630 is a 65-inch 4K Roku TV with documented HDR and gaming features, but the available evidence does not establish its refresh rate, input lag, or measured picture performance. TCL’s Austrian product page lists Dolby Vision, HDR10, Dolby Audio, Game Master, ALLM, and four HDMI 2.1 ports; those specifications are market-specific, so check the exact model suffix and local product sheet before buying.
What the TCL 65RP630 offers
TCL identifies the 65RP630 in its European support materials, which include manuals, a product information sheet, a declaration of conformity, and a power label. Those documents are dated July 31, 2023. TCL Austria describes the set as a 65-inch 4K Ultra HD Roku smart TV and lists the following features: TCL Austria’s RP630 series product page.
- Picture formats: HDR10 and Dolby Vision are listed for the Austrian version.
- Audio: Dolby Audio is listed.
- Gaming: Game Master and ALLM are listed.
- Connections: Four HDMI 2.1 ports and one USB port are listed.
- Smart features: The page lists support for common voice-assistant ecosystems.
These are official product-page specifications, not independent measurements. Regional versions and bundled features can differ, so verify your local listing and the suffix on the TV you are considering. TCL’s European 65RP630 support page is a useful place to check model-specific documents.
Picture quality: promising impressions, but no 65-inch test result
Digital Reviews Network reviewed a 55-inch RP630, not the 65-inch 65RP630. Its reviewer described that sample’s interface as smooth and its picture as sharp, clear, and vivid without appearing oversaturated, and identified a VA panel and HDR10 support. These are subjective impressions from the reviewed 55-inch set, not laboratory measurements or a direct assessment of the 65-inch model. Read the Digital Reviews Network RP630 review.

Canaltech reviewed a 50-inch RP630-family TV. It discussed 4K clarity and Roku’s app interface, while noting limitations in advanced image features and reflections. That is additional family-level context, not a finding about the 65-inch unit; app availability also varies by region. Read Canaltech’s RP630 review.

Gaming: useful labels, unanswered performance questions
TCL Austria lists Game Master and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), as well as four HDMI 2.1 ports, for its RP630 series. These features indicate gaming-related support, but their presence alone does not establish a particular gaming performance level. In particular, an HDMI 2.1 label does not prove that the TV supports 4K at 120Hz.

Compare the 65RP630 with alternatives at the same local price using confirmed specifications and independent measurements. Prioritize verified brightness and picture testing if HDR performance matters, and measured input lag and refresh-rate support if gaming is a priority. The available evidence is not enough to rank this model against alternatives on those performance measures.
Verdict: who should consider the TCL 65RP630?
The 65RP630 is worth considering if you want a 65-inch 4K Roku TV and the exact local version provides the HDR, audio, and connectivity features you need at a competitive price. Its listed Dolby Vision, HDR10, Dolby Audio, Game Master, ALLM, and four HDMI 2.1 ports make a useful feature set on the Austrian specification page. However, the available reviews do not directly test the 65-inch model, and key performance details—including refresh rate, input lag, and brightness—are not established here. Treat those as questions to verify, not strengths to assume.
