What is the TCL 43C635?
The 43C635 is the 43-inch version of TCL’s C635 series. These are manufacturer-stated features, not independent measurements of picture or sound performance. TCL Japan’s 2022 C635 announcement

Picture quality: what the review says
CHOICE’s accessible review page gives the TCL 43C635 a 72% Expert Rating. It lists the remote control as a pro, while its stated drawbacks are a contrasty image with some black crush and a stand that does not allow screen-angle adjustment. Black crush means darker details may lose definition in some scenes; the review’s finding is a useful caution if shadow detail matters to you.
CHOICE places much of its detailed test information behind member access. The accessible findings therefore support a mixed assessment, not a full account of every test result or a conclusion that the set will perform identically in every room and viewing situation. CHOICE review of the TCL 43C635

Is it a good TV for gaming?
The Australian specification sheet lists Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), a feature intended to reduce input lag when a compatible game source is detected. That is not the same as confirmed 4K gaming at 120Hz. CHOICE’s Australian model listing says HDMI 2.1 support at 4K/120Hz is “Not stated,” and the available evidence does not confirm native 120Hz support. If 4K/120Hz is essential for a console or gaming PC, do not buy this model on the assumption that it supports it; verify the exact regional model’s manual or manufacturer specifications first.

Yes. TCL Australia specifies a VESA 200 × 200 mm mounting pattern and M6 screws, with four screw positions. The wall bracket is sold separately. Check that a prospective mount explicitly supports the pattern and can carry the television’s weight; choose suitable fixings and installation for the wall type rather than assuming any universal bracket will fit.

Should you buy the TCL 43C635?
It may suit someone seeking a compact 4K QLED Google TV with Dolby Vision and ALLM, provided the price and local warranty make sense. The review findings point to trade-offs in dark-scene detail and stand adjustability, while 4K/120Hz support remains unconfirmed in the cited Australian listing. CHOICE marks the Australian model discontinued, and current stock and prices were not established; check regional availability and the full model suffix before purchase.
