Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon’s free Fists of Fury DLC launched on 1 October 2026 alongside update 1.30, also styled 1.3.0. The DLC adds a questline and the gear and skills needed to make unarmed combat a supported build. The update also brings optimization and stability work, Steam Deck graphics presets, and Xbox Play Anywhere support.
What does Fists of Fury add?
The free DLC adds a new questline built around fistfighting, plus a new fistfighting weapon category, related armor and items, and a dedicated skill tree. The developer and publisher describe unarmed combat as a “fully supported build” with its own gear, skills, and dedicated teacher.

That means the release is more than a new way to attack: it supplies a progression path and equipment for players who want to build around fighting without conventional weapons.

Steam lists the DLC as free and gives its release date as 1 October 2026. Its listing requires Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon on Steam; the DLC is not a standalone game. View the Steam DLC listing.

The Steam requirement is specific to that storefront. The game is also reported for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but that platform context does not establish the DLC’s price, availability, or entitlement terms on each console storefront.
What comes with update 1.30?
Alongside the DLC, update 1.30 includes optimization and stability improvements across platforms. The developers estimate gains of 5 to 30 extra FPS on PC, Steam Deck, and Steam Machine depending on setup, and around 2 extra FPS on consoles. These are developer estimates, not independently measured results or guaranteed gains for an individual system.

Steam Deck graphics presets
The update adds two Steam Deck graphics modes. The announcement describes Quality as targeting around 30 FPS with better visual fidelity, and Performance as targeting around 40 FPS for smoother play. Those figures are the developers’ stated targets, not independent testing results.
Xbox Play Anywhere
The announcement also says Xbox Play Anywhere is supported, with saves and achievements carrying over between Xbox and PC. This feature applies to the Xbox ecosystem; the announcement does not establish equivalent save or achievement transfers across other platforms.

Where can you get it?
On Steam, find Fists of Fury on its DLC listing and add it at no charge, with the Steam base game required. For console players, check the relevant platform’s store for its current listing and terms rather than assuming the Steam entitlement applies there. The launch is a digital DLC release paired with a game update, not a physical product launch.
