The TABYIK DH-CS01 is a small, quiet dehumidifier for light moisture in an enclosed space—not a practical fix for a persistently damp room. In RTINGS’ September 2026 test, it removed just 0.4 pints (0.2 L) of water per day, and the review says even lowering humidity in a small space can take a long time. Its compact size and low measured noise are useful, but capacity is the deciding limitation.
What the DH-CS01 can—and cannot—do
RTINGS tested the DH-CS01 by measuring how long it took to lower relative humidity from 70% to 40% at 77°F. It removed 0.4 pints (0.2 L) per day under that test, a very limited rate. RTINGS says the unit can struggle to make a meaningful difference in larger or particularly damp rooms, and that lowering humidity may take a long time even in smaller spaces. RTINGS’ DH-CS01 review
That makes the model most plausible for light-duty moisture control in a small, enclosed area, such as a closet or compact bathroom. It is a poor choice for a basement, a large room, or persistent dampness. A dehumidifier also should not be treated as a substitute for fixing water intrusion or another underlying moisture source.
Noise, size, and power
The DH-CS01 is compact and light: RTINGS lists dimensions of 10.0 × 6.0 × 6.0 inches and a weight of 2.5 lb. RTINGS measured noise at 38.1 dBA at both listed fan settings; the unit has a single fan speed, so the readings do not indicate two distinct speeds. The review considers its noise suitable for a bedroom or office.

Keep the power figures separate because they describe different things. The manufacturer’s 2019 instruction manual lists a rated input of DC 12 V and rated power of 40 W. Tank, drainage, and controls
The water tank holds 1 L (0.3 gal). When it fills, automatic shutoff stops the unit, but there is no pump or continuous-drain option. You must remove and empty the tank by hand, which can mean frequent attention if the appliance is running continuously. The measured extraction rate is low, but how often the tank fills depends on the moisture in the space and operating conditions.

Controls are basic: RTINGS reports no humidistat, app, or remote control. The DH-CS01 therefore cannot sense a target humidity and automatically maintain it; operation requires manual control rather than a set-and-forget humidity target.
When to choose a higher-capacity unit
If you need to lower humidity meaningfully in a larger room or address persistent dampness, look for a dehumidifier with substantially higher tested extraction capacity, a humidistat, and continuous drainage if unattended operation matters. RTINGS’ comparison names the Midea MAD20S1QWT as a higher-capacity alternative, with much greater moisture removal, a humidistat, and continuous drainage. That comparison is a pointer to a different class of appliance, not a guarantee about current availability or specifications; verify the exact model and its current documentation before buying.

For a small room where a meaningful reduction is still the goal, RTINGS describes the AGLucky OL12D-D023B as a better fit than the DH-CS01. Compare current models using tested moisture removal and test conditions, noise, tank and drainage setup, controls, and physical size—not a product label alone.
Cold or dry conditions
TABYIK’s manual warns that performance is affected by low-temperature and low-humidity conditions and says the dehumidifying effect is not obvious below 8°C (47°F). This is manufacturer guidance, not a result from RTINGS’ performance test; the manual does not quantify how much capacity changes under those conditions.

Verdict
The TABYIK DH-CS01’s strongest points are its compact, lightweight form and measured noise level. Its very low tested moisture removal, small manually emptied tank, and lack of humidity automation make it a limited appliance for light-duty small-space use. Choose it only if those constraints fit the job; for larger or persistently damp spaces, start with a higher-capacity dehumidifier.
