What is confirmed about Prime Big Deal Days 2026?
Amazon announced a 48-hour Prime Big Deal Days event for October 6–7, 2026, with Prime-member deals across more than 35 categories. Amazon’s event details are available in its official announcement.
That confirms the event dates, not a SwitchBot offer. The sources reviewed do not verify a SwitchBot Amazon promotion, a live listing, or the advertised maximum of 59% off. Which SwitchBot products work with Matter?
SwitchBot devices can connect to smart-home platforms through Matter over Bridge, while some supported Wi-Fi models connect natively. SwitchBot lists Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant, and SmartThings among the platforms its Matter integration can connect with, but support and available functions vary. Its Matter overview also says current infrared-appliance support uses Hub 2 or Hub Mini Matter Enabled.

Matter over Bridge
For a product that uses Matter over Bridge, you need a compatible SwitchBot bridge and a compatible platform controller. SwitchBot lists Hub Mini Matter Enabled, Hub 2, Hub 3, and AI Hub as bridge devices. Hub 2 is one relevant example, but its inclusion does not mean every SwitchBot product or feature will work through it. Confirm the exact model in SwitchBot’s Matter compatibility list.
Native Matter over Wi-Fi
Some supported SwitchBot Wi-Fi products connect natively rather than relying on a Matter bridge. Do not infer the connection method from the brand or product category alone: check the exact model’s compatibility details, supported ecosystem, and required firmware.

Apple Home sub-devices
SwitchBot’s Apple Home guide names examples including Curtain 3, Blind Tilt, Meter devices, motion and contact sensors, plugs, lighting, robot vacuums, and Roller Shade. Supported actions differ by device. Under the setup described by SwitchBot, Hub 2 can sync eight sub-devices in total, counting the hub’s own temperature and humidity data. Firmware and device status can affect what is supported; consult the Apple Home compatibility guide.

Do you need a SwitchBot hub for Matter?
It depends on the device’s Matter connection method. A device that requires Matter over Bridge needs a compatible bridge, such as a supported SwitchBot hub, as well as a compatible Matter platform controller. A supported Wi-Fi model may connect natively and not need that bridge. The compatibility list for the exact product is the deciding check—not a general assumption that all SwitchBot devices need, or do not need, a hub.

How to check whether a SwitchBot deal is real
- Open the live Amazon listing. Confirm the seller, exact model, bundle contents, availability, and displayed price. The sources reviewed do not establish any particular live listing or inventory.
- Match the listing to SwitchBot’s compatibility information. Check whether the product uses native Matter over Wi-Fi or Matter over Bridge, which hub and firmware it needs, and which functions are supported in your chosen ecosystem.
