Business Today’s 7 October 2026 report put five Indian stocks near or at reported 52-week lows and relayed broker targets ranging from ₹74 for Suzlon to ₹4,400 for Kaynes Technology. Those are attributed analyst views, not guaranteed future prices or a verified consensus. A low price or an “oversold” reading alone does not establish that a share is a buy.
Reported lows and brokerage targets
The figures below are what Business Today reported on 7 October 2026, not independently verified live market data. “Current-session” refers to the trading context of that report; it should not be read as a current quote after that date. The report did not provide consistent target horizons or the underlying analyst valuation assumptions.
| Company | Low-price context in the report | Broker target and reported view |
|---|---|---|
| Suzlon Energy | ₹38.43 current-session low, close to the ₹38.17 low recorded on 9 March 2026 | Centrum: ₹74, buy; Motilal Oswal: ₹74 |
| NCC | ₹125.75 current-session 52-week low | PL Capital: ₹195, buy; IIFL Institutional Equities: ₹167, add |
| Inox Wind | ₹66.76 current-session 52-week low | Motilal Oswal: ₹92, buy |
| Kaynes Technology | ₹2,995 low in May 2026; reported 52-week high of ₹7,705 | Motilal Oswal: ₹4,400, buy; HDFC Securities: ₹3,270, described by the article as “buy” with a “reduce rating” |
| IREDA | ₹107.20 fresh current-session 52-week low | Phillip Securities: ₹140, neutral |
Business Today is the source for each low, target and rating in the table (Business Today, 7 October 2026 report). The HDFC Securities wording for Kaynes is internally awkward as presented in that article; without the original report, it is safer not to interpret or reconcile it. The two reported targets for NCC and Kaynes are separate broker views, not figures to average into a consensus.
What the broker commentary says about NCC
Business Today attributed NCC’s FY27 revenue-growth guidance of 8–10% and EBITDA margin guidance of 8.5–9% to PL Capital. It also relayed the brokerage’s expectation for Q2 FY27: revenue growth of 10% year over year, EBITDA growth of 18.2%, an 8% EBITDA margin versus 7.4% in Q2 FY26, and PAT growth of 10.1% year over year.
#1 Best Overall
“For Q2FY27, we expect revenue and EBITDA growth of 10% and 18.2% YoY, respectively. Expected EBITDA Margin is 8% (vs 7.4% in Q2FY26), with PAT growth of 10.1% YoY,” said PL Capital, as quoted by Business Today.
These are brokerage forecasts and guidance as relayed by the article, not NCC-reported Q2 results. NCC’s investor-relations page lists unaudited results through 30 June 2026, but its page text does not provide the underlying figures (NCC investor relations).

What official filings establish—and what they do not
The available company filings provide useful context, but their periods and accounting bases differ, so they are not a like-for-like comparison or sufficient evidence to rank the five shares by value.

- Suzlon: Its NSE filing reports standalone, unaudited Q1 FY2026–27 results for the quarter ended 30 June 2026, including revenue from operations of ₹3,29,738 lakh and profit before tax of ₹38,292 lakh. It also states there was no default on interest or loan repayment during that quarter (NSE filing for Suzlon). Suzlon’s investor-relations page lists Q1 FY2026–27 results, a presentation, press release and call transcript (Suzlon investor relations).
- Inox Wind: Its NSE filing reports consolidated, audited FY2025–26 results for the year ended 31 March 2026, including revenue from operations of ₹4,39,712 lakh and total profit for the period of ₹44,909 lakh (NSE filing for Inox Wind).
- NCC: The investor-relations page lists unaudited results for the period ended 30 June 2026 and audited results for the year ended 31 March 2026; the reviewed page text does not state the figures (NCC investor relations).
The cited material does not provide equivalent official-results figures for IREDA or Kaynes Technology. It also does not provide original analyst reports for the targets, so target horizons, valuation methods and assumptions cannot be compared consistently.

No conclusion like that follows from the price level alone. Business Today described the five shares as having seen “more sellers than buyers in the recent past,” but that is the outlet’s characterization, not a reported measure of order flow. The article also described an RSI below 30 as an oversold chart condition; oversold is a technical indicator description, not proof a stock is undervalued or due to recover.
The same report cited five-year returns of about 479% for Suzlon and 175% for Inox Wind, and a two-year decline of 57% for NCC. These are figures reported by Business Today, not calculations independently reproduced here, and historical returns do not validate a broker target or predict future performance.
Rank #4
For an investor comparing the names, the meaningful next questions are whether the relevant target has a stated time horizon, what earnings or execution assumptions underpin it, and how the latest comparable company results support those assumptions. The available reports do not answer those questions uniformly across all five companies.
