The Surfshark offer reviewed on October 4, 2026 did not verify the advertised 87% discount. Its selected 24-month offer displayed discounts of 79% to 85%, plus three extra months. The displayed prices were $2.49 a month for Starter, $2.79 for One and $4.49 for One+. Treat them as offer-specific figures, not guaranteed checkout prices: currency, VAT and coupons can change the amount.
What does the Surfshark deal cost?
Surfshark’s official pricing page, accessed October 4, 2026, showed the following prices for one selected offer. Each included three extra months, making the first term 27 months. The monthly figures are the displayed equivalents; the total is the amount shown for that initial term.
| Plan | Displayed monthly price | Displayed first-term total | Displayed discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $2.49 | $67.23 for the first 27 months | 79% to 85% across the offer’s plans |
| One | $2.79 | $75.33 | 79% to 85% across the offer’s plans |
| One+ | $4.49 | $121.23 | 79% to 85% across the offer’s plans |
The reviewed page did not establish which individual discount percentage applied to each plan, so the range is shown for the offer rather than assigned to a specific row. The offer’s prices and discounts can change; check the plan, duration, currency, taxes and any coupon at checkout before paying.
Which Surfshark plan should you choose?
Surfshark lists Starter, One and One+ bundles, with subscription terms of 1, 12 or 24 months. The bundle choice determines which services are included; the term affects the displayed price. Compare the checkout’s current feature list before deciding, since included services can change.

What happens when the introductory offer ends?
Do not use the introductory monthly equivalent as a forecast of your long-term cost. Surfshark says the applicable renewal price will be charged, but the reviewed offer did not state a specific renewal amount. Its pricing page says a two-year plan is billed at the start and then annually after that term expires. The terms also say paid subscriptions renew automatically unless automatic payments are canceled before renewal, and Surfshark may change subscription prices with advance communication.

How do you cancel Surfshark auto-renewal?
The cancellation route depends on where you bought the subscription. Surfshark says cancellation stops future renewal, while access remains available until the current billing period ends; stopping renewal does not itself issue a refund.
- Bought directly from Surfshark: Sign in to your Surfshark account and cancel the subscription’s automatic renewal there.
- Bought through an app store: Use the subscription-management settings in the store through which you subscribed, rather than canceling only in your Surfshark account.
Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge, and check the account or store for confirmation that renewal is off.
