What can the LC6000 do?

The booklet describes a processing blade, slicing and shredding discs, and julienne, dough and whisk attachments. A wide feed chute and pushers are also documented. The booklet does not establish which pieces a particular second-hand seller has retained, so confirm the actual bundle rather than assuming every attachment is included.

Blending

- Limit heavy dough runs. For a heavy 1.5 kg dough load, do not operate the food processor for more than 38 seconds at a time.
- Limit blender runs. Do not run the blender for more than two minutes at a time, do not exceed the jug’s marked 1.5 L level and do not blend hot ingredients.
- Lock the bowl cover correctly. The processing bowl cover activates the safety system; the appliance will not operate unless the cover is correctly positioned and locked.
- Keep hands away from blades. Unplug before changing or approaching moving accessories, and use the supplied pusher to feed food rather than fingers. The blades are sharp.
Should you buy a used Sunbeam LC6000?
Because the model is discontinued, judge an individual listing by its condition, completeness, demonstrated operation, asking price and recourse if it fails—not by the historical brochure price. A Sunbeam-branded brochure gives a suggested retail price of $199, but its publication year is not confirmed, so that figure is historical context, not a current valuation. Current stock, transaction prices and replacement-part availability have not been established.
Check the parts and condition
- Confirm the processor bowl and cover, pushers, spindle, discs, blades and attachments are included and undamaged.
