In a LiveMint report published on 8 October 2026, Sumeet Bagadia, Executive Director at Choice Broking, recommended five stocks for Friday, 9 October: Hexaware Technologies, Sky Gold, Berger Paints, Mastek and Physicswallah. The report’s stated buy prices, targets and stop losses are dated levels—not live quotes or confirmation that any target or stop was later reached.

Five stocks and their reported levels

The figures below are the exact levels printed in LiveMint’s 8 October 2026 report. The rupee distances and percentages are calculated from those reported entry, target and stop-loss levels; they are arithmetic comparisons, not forecasts of likely returns.

Stock Reported buy price Target Stop loss Target distance Stop-loss distance
Hexaware Technologies ₹512 ₹560 ₹490 ₹48 (about 9.4%) ₹22 (about 4.3%)
Sky Gold ₹885 ₹970 ₹843 ₹85 (about 9.6%) ₹42 (about 4.7%)

Physicswallah ₹141 ₹155 ₹134 ₹14 (about 9.9%) ₹7 (about 5.0%)

All five price levels come from LiveMint’s report by Asit Manohar, published 8 October 2026. The percentage comparisons divide the target or stop-loss distance by the reported buy price and are rounded to one decimal place.

What the market context in the report said

LiveMint reported the Nifty 50 closed at 22,231.80 on 8 October, down 371.25 points (1.64%). It reported the Bank Nifty at 54,515.05, down 540.50 points (0.98%). These are session figures as reported by the publication, not current market readings.

Bagadia characterized the Nifty’s short-term structure as weak and cited support at 22,000–22,150, with first resistance at 22,400–22,500. The report gave the Nifty RSI as 27.55, an oversold reading that Bagadia said could allow a technical bounce but did not confirm a reversal. Those levels and interpretation relate to the 8 October session; they should not be treated as current technical analysis.

How to interpret these calls

  • They are dated recommendations. The article presented the five calls for Friday, 9 October 2026. It does not establish that the quoted prices remain available or reflect later trading.
  • The target and stop are reference levels, not guaranteed outcomes. The cited report does not provide subsequent performance, and the figures alone do not establish the likelihood of reaching either level.
  • The report does not supply company-specific investment rationales. It does not establish the underlying fundamentals, suitability for a particular investor, or whether a trade fits that person’s financial circumstances.
  • Check current information before acting. A reader considering any security would need current market data and relevant company and risk information; the historical levels above are not a substitute.

LiveMint describes its coverage as educational and informational, says the recommendations belong to the individual analysts or broking firms rather than LiveMint, and advises readers to consult certified financial experts before making investment decisions.
