Stuff’s CES 2024 roundup named nine gadgets its most-wanted picks from the show, spanning TVs, audio, earbuds, laptops, a phone and a handheld gaming PC. Published on 16 January 2024 by Esat Dedezade, it is an editorial selection—not a ranked industry award or a current buying guide. Several picks were described through announced specifications and expectations rather than completed reviews.

What Stuff’s CES 2024 picks represent

Stuff’s feature drew on remote reporting and reporting from the Las Vegas show floor. Its nine choices reflect what the publication found appealing at CES 2024; they should not be read as independently tested winners or as a claim that these are the best products to buy in 2026. The descriptions below distinguish reported product features from the publication’s expectations.

The nine gadgets Stuff selected

LG OLED G4

Stuff was looking forward to the G4’s expected improvements over the G3: a brighter picture, a higher refresh rate, a more powerful processor and a new operating system. The roundup presented these as anticipated changes, not results from a hands-on G4 test.

FiiO R9 Desktop Music Streamer

The R9 is a compact all-in-one audio device with a 6-inch touchscreen and Android access to major music streaming services. Stuff reported a maximum output of up to 7300mW; that is a product specification reported in the 2024 feature, not an independent measurement. Listed connections and wireless options include Bluetooth 5.0, AirPlay and HDMI ARC.

Sennheiser Momentum Sport

These wireless earbuds combine active noise cancellation with heart-rate and body-temperature sensors. Stuff also highlighted sweat resistance and clog-resistant ear tips. It said sensor data could be shared with Apple Health, Garmin Connect, Strava, Peloton and Polar Flow.

Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (2024)

Stuff called attention to the 2024 G14’s Ryzen 8000-series CPU, Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU, OLED screen and metal build. Its slim form was presented as an attempt to balance gaming performance with portability, rather than as a performance finding from the roundup.

Panasonic Z95A OLED with Fire TV

The Z95A’s highlighted features included Fire TV OS, a new image-processing chipset and a built-in Alexa microphone. For gaming, Stuff pointed to Game Mode Extreme, variable refresh rates and Dolby Vision gaming up to 144Hz.

Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro

Stuff highlighted a more restrained design, a rear mini-LED display, camera improvements described as claims on paper, gaming performance, a dedicated cooling device, two USB-C ports and a headphone jack. The feature treated these as promising specifications and expectations, not as conclusions from a completed review.

MSI Claw

At its CES debut, this Windows 11 handheld gaming PC was described with an Intel Core Ultra (Meteor Lake) processor, 16GB of RAM and Intel Arc graphics. Stuff explicitly noted that it had not yet put the Claw through a full in-depth review for the awards feature.

Alienware m16 R2

Stuff described configurations with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, 64GB of RAM and an Nvidia RTX 4070, alongside a 16-inch 2560 × 1600 display with a 240Hz refresh rate. The roundup also emphasized its more restrained design compared with older Alienware styling.

How to use this roundup as a buyer

This is a record of Stuff’s 2024 editorial interests, not enough evidence by itself to choose a product today. The feature does not establish current prices, stock, regional configurations, long-term reliability or comparative test performance. Check the exact model and your market’s specifications before buying; a configuration or feature mentioned at CES may not apply to every version sold.

  • For TVs: compare panel and image performance, gaming refresh features, platform support, screen size and current price.
  • For audio: match the Music Frame or R9 to its intended setting—room speaker or desk-based streamer—and check the connections, streaming support and speaker or headphone setup you need.
  • For earbuds: consider fit, whether the sensors and supported health platforms are useful to you, noise cancellation and workout durability.
  • For laptops and the handheld: seek current comparisons of real-world performance, display, controls, portability, battery life, operating system and price. The CES roundup does not provide those test results.
