UMS Integration Limited (SGX: 558) is a Singapore-based manufacturing-services company whose core business is making semiconductor equipment components and integrated systems for original equipment manufacturers. Its FY2025 revenue and attributable profit rose modestly, but component sales, integrated-system sales and aerospace revenue moved in different directions. Investors assessing the company should distinguish those reported results from management’s customer-demand expectations for 2026 and 2027, and check the latest filings for its FY2026 interim performance and the status of a proposed share placement.
What does UMS Integration do?
UMS provides manufacturing and integration services to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs); it is not a chip designer or a consumer semiconductor brand. Its semiconductor operations include front-end equipment contract manufacturing, complex electromechanical assembly, final-testing devices, and modular and integrated systems. The group also makes high-precision aircraft parts through subsidiaries and distributes industrial metals and related materials.
UMS reports three business groupings: Semiconductors, Aerospace, and Others, with Others mainly comprising materials distribution. It reports production facilities in Singapore, Malaysia and California, USA. The semiconductor business is its core activity.

For the year ended 31 December 2025, UMS reported S$251.1 million in revenue, up 4% from S$242.1 million in FY2024. Net attributable profit was S$41.6 million, compared with S$40.6 million a year earlier, a 2% increase.

The sales mix points to distinct operating trends: component sales rose, while integrated-system sales slipped slightly. UMS also reported semiconductor revenue growth of 5% and an aerospace revenue decline of 7% for FY2025. These revenue movements alone do not establish how segment margins or future profitability changed.
What is the outlook for UMS Integration?
In its FY2025 CEO statement, CEO Andy Luong said: “Both our key global customers have forecast robust demand growth for 2026 and 2027.” That is a report of customers’ expectations, not a guarantee of orders, UMS revenue or profit.

The same statement described a renewed three-year integrated-system contract and new product introductions being developed with a new key customer. Investors can watch whether those developments translate into reported sales and sustained customer demand. The statement also cited SEMI’s forecast that global sales of semiconductor manufacturing equipment would rise for three consecutive years and reach a record US$156 billion in 2027. That is an industry forecast cited by UMS, not company revenue guidance.
What should investors watch at UMS Integration?
Component and integrated-system sales
Track the two semiconductor sales lines separately in subsequent reports. A change in their relative performance can show where reported growth is coming from, but should not be treated as a margin comparison unless the company provides the relevant profitability data.

Customer demand and new-product conversion
Compare management’s customer-demand commentary with reported orders, revenue and any updates on new products or the renewed contract. Customer forecasts and pipeline references are not the same as confirmed sales.
Aerospace performance
FY2025 aerospace revenue declined 7%. Future reporting can show whether that business stabilizes or improves; the FY2025 figure by itself does not establish a recovery.

Capacity and capital needs
Watch for company disclosures about capacity, investment and capital requirements alongside changes in demand. These help put growth plans in context, but the FY2025 revenue figures do not on their own establish what future investment will be required.
FY2026 interim results
SGX records a UMS half-year results filing for the six months ended 30 June 2026, filed on 13 August 2026. The detailed interim revenue, profit, margins, cash flow and balance-sheet figures are not established here, so consult the primary SGX filing before drawing conclusions about FY2026 trading.

What corporate actions could affect shareholders?
Proposed share placement
UMS’s investor-relations page listed a proposal to place up to 52,941,100 new ordinary shares. An approval-in-principle notice was dated 5 October 2026, and Bursa Securities approval was dated 7 October 2026. Those notices do not establish that the placement was completed, its final size or issue price, or the resulting dilution. Check the latest company announcement for the outcome before assessing its effect on the share count.
Bonus issue and dividends
UMS reported completing a one-for-four bonus share issue in January 2026. For FY2025, it proposed a final dividend of 2.0 Singapore cents per share and said total dividends proposed and declared for the year were 5.0 Singapore cents per share. The proposed final dividend’s approval and payment status should be checked in current filings.
What the available figures do not establish
The FY2025 figures describe reported company performance, while the 2026–27 demand comments are expectations attributed to customers and management. The cited company materials do not establish a current share price, valuation multiples or analyst price targets. Assessing those requires current market data and the latest company filings; the operating figures and outlook commentary alone do not determine whether the shares are attractively valued.
