Indian equities are likely to be driven by company-specific news on 15 October 2026 rather than a single market-wide event. The main catalysts are a proposed Jio Platforms IPO under Reliance Industries, the reported sale of a controlling stake in IDBI Bank, a USFDA inspection outcome at Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, two project awards, and quarterly results from ICICI Lombard, HDB Financial Services and Bajaj Consumer Care.
Angel One said markets would track “company-specific developments, quarterly earnings announcements, new project contracts and major corporate transactions” during the session. The figures below are reported developments, not investment recommendations; IPO and transaction terms remain subject to final documents, approvals and completion.
Today’s watchlist at a glance
| Company | Catalyst | What the market must assess | Event character |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reliance Industries | Jio Platforms IPO plan | Final offer documents, pricing and execution | Proposed corporate action |
| IDBI Bank | Strategic stake sale | Regulatory approvals and closing of the transaction | Announced transaction |
| Dr Reddy’s Laboratories | USFDA Form 483 | Company response and any subsequent regulatory action | Regulatory event |
| Enviro Infra Engineers | Subsidiary EPC letter of intent | Conversion into a firm order and project execution | Potential one-off order |
| Om Power Transmission | Turnkey electrical contract | Execution, billing and margins | Order win |
| ICICI Lombard | Second-quarter results | Premium growth versus underwriting quality | Recurring earnings report |
| HDB Financial Services | Second-quarter results | Profit and net-interest-income momentum | Recurring earnings report |
| Bajaj Consumer Care | Second-quarter results | Revenue growth and profit conversion | Recurring earnings report |
Ventura Securities also named Hyundai Motor India, Tata Technologies and Laurus Labs among stocks to watch on 15 October, but the available announcements do not establish a specific catalyst or financial figure for those three companies.

Reliance Industries: proposed Jio Platforms IPO
Jio Platforms is reported to be planning an IPO of about ₹30,187.6 crore for 21–23 October 2026. The reported price band is ₹1,065–₹1,119 a share, with the anchor-investor book scheduled for 19 October. The offer is said to include a fresh issue of 27 crore shares.
#1 Best Overall
Reported reservation limits include up to ₹500 crore for employees and ₹2,500 crore for eligible Reliance Industries shareholders. These are proposed terms, so investors should rely on the final offer documents for the definitive timetable, issue size, allocation rules and eligibility conditions. For Reliance, the immediate question is how the listing process may affect the valuation and capital-market profile of its digital-services business; the IPO itself is not yet a completed transaction.
IDBI Bank: government and LIC stake divestment
Fairfax Financial Holdings-backed Canada Inc has reportedly been approved as the strategic buyer for IDBI Bank. The government and Life Insurance Corporation of India are reported to be selling a combined 60.72% stake for ₹52,878 crore at ₹81 per share.

The reported split is 30.48% for the government and 30.24% for LIC. This is a transaction catalyst, not an earnings update: the key uncertainties are the remaining approvals, documentation, settlement and eventual change in control. The reported price and stake percentages should therefore be read as announced deal terms rather than cash already received or a completed ownership transfer.

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories: three observations at FTO-9
The US Food and Drug Administration completed a pre-approval inspection at Dr Reddy’s FTO-9 facility in Visakhapatnam on 8–9 October 2026. The agency issued a Form 483 containing three observations.
A Form 483 records inspection observations; it is not, by itself, a final enforcement decision. Market attention is likely to centre on Dr Reddy’s written response, the remediation timeline and whether the regulator takes any further action affecting approvals or manufacturing. The number of observations alone does not establish the commercial outcome.
Project awards: execution matters more than headline value
Enviro Infra Engineers
Enviro Infra Engineers’ subsidiary Suyog Urja received a ₹228 crore letter of intent for turnkey engineering, procurement and construction work on the 100 MW Ajani Wind Power Project in Latur. A letter of intent indicates an award framework, but conversion into a definitive contract, mobilisation, revenue recognition and margin delivery remain execution steps to monitor.
Rank #4
Om Power Transmission
Om Power Transmission received a ₹101.56 crore turnkey contract from Uttar Gujarat Vij Company for underground electrical cabling and related work in Ambaji. The order provides a defined project opportunity; investors will still need to follow the implementation schedule, working-capital requirements, customer payments and realised margins.
Quarterly results: growth rates need quality checks
ICICI Lombard
ICICI Lombard reported second-quarter profit of ₹946.4 crore, up 15.47% year over year. Net premium earned rose 17.7% to ₹6,651.87 crore, while total income increased 19.2% to ₹7,843.7 crore. The company declared an interim dividend of ₹7.
Best Value
The important counterpoint is underwriting: the reported underwriting loss widened to ₹318.38 crore from ₹178.36 crore. Premium and income growth therefore need to be assessed alongside claims, pricing and underwriting profitability rather than treated as a complete picture of operating quality.
HDB Financial Services
HDB Financial Services reported second-quarter profit of ₹780.2 crore, a 34.2% year-over-year increase. Net interest income rose 15.6% to ₹2,533.7 crore. The next useful checkpoints are whether income growth is translating into sustainable profit and how credit costs, asset quality and funding conditions evolve; those measures are not established by the headline figures alone.
Bajaj Consumer Care
Bajaj Consumer Care reported second-quarter profit of ₹70.2 crore, up 65.9% year over year, and revenue of ₹332.8 crore, up 25.5%. The scale of profit growth exceeds revenue growth, making margins, product mix and the durability of demand important follow-up measures in subsequent disclosures.
How to interpret the catalysts
- Proposed IPO and stake sale: headline values describe potential capital-market transactions. Pricing, approvals, allocation and closing can change before completion.
- Regulatory inspection: an inspection observation requires a response and remediation analysis; it should not be equated automatically with a final sanction.
- Project awards: an LoI or contract can enlarge the order pipeline, but cash generation depends on execution, billing and margins.
- Quarterly earnings: revenue, premium or net-interest-income growth must be read with profitability and quality indicators, such as ICICI Lombard’s wider underwriting loss.

Price reactions can also differ from the direction implied by a headline because expectations, valuation and broader market conditions are already reflected in trading.
