That report is a dated price snapshot—not confirmation that the offer is still available on October 7. What the reported Amazon deal included
MMO.net reported on October 5, 2026, relaying IGN deal coverage, that Amazon had the physical console editions for $47.97 on PS5 and $47.99 on Xbox Series X. The report characterized the reduction as 20% and called it the game’s first major Amazon discount since launch. Another October 6 report gave the same near-$48 prices, while a syndicated version listed $47.99 for both consoles. Given that small discrepancy, the practical takeaway is that both editions were reported at about $48, not that one platform had a meaningful one-cent advantage. A similar Best Buy price was also reported, but its current price and stock were not verified.

Is it still on sale at Amazon?
The October 5 report does not establish that the deal remains live, when it ends, or whether every shopper can access it. Amazon prices and availability can change, especially around a limited retail event. Open the listing directly and confirm the price shown at checkout, that the selected platform is correct, and the seller, stock, delivery estimate, and return terms. Do not treat the reported price as a current quote or as a verified all-time low.

Which console version should you buy?
Choose the edition that matches your console: the PS5 physical copy is for PlayStation 5, while the Xbox version is for Xbox Series X|S.
