“Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Ultra” combines two different product lines: Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. For a stainless steel band, the substantiated match is the Galaxy Watch Ultra, and the documented option is Samsung Hong Kong’s black ITFIT 3-Link Stainless Steel Band. The store page showed it as sold out when accessed, so current availability elsewhere is not established.
First, identify which Galaxy Watch you have
Samsung lists Galaxy Watch8, Galaxy Watch8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra as separate products. Their band connections are not interchangeable. Check the model name on the watch or in its settings before shopping; a listing that says only “Galaxy Watch” is not enough to confirm fit.
- Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic: Samsung says these use a new dedicated attachment mechanism, are not compatible with bands from earlier models, and are compatible with each other. Samsung’s band-change guidance explains the distinction.
- Galaxy Watch Ultra: It uses dedicated bands and a dynamic lug system. Samsung gives the connection width as 34 mm and says Ultra bands are not compatible with other Galaxy Watch models. See Samsung support and Samsung’s accessory guidance.
That means the phrase “Galaxy Watch 8 Ultra” should not be used to infer compatibility. An ordinary 20 mm or 22 mm spring-bar band is not a direct-fit Ultra band merely because its width sounds familiar. Treat an adapter-based option as unverified unless its seller provides reliable evidence for the exact watch and connector.

Samsung Hong Kong’s listing identifies a black, three-link stainless steel band specifically for Galaxy Watch Ultra. The page showed “Sold Out at Samsung Online Shop” when accessed. That confirms a documented product and observed stock status at that shop—not present availability on another retailer or marketplace.

How to check a band before buying
- Confirm the watch: determine whether it is Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch8, or Galaxy Watch8 Classic. Do not rely on a shortened product title.
- Verify the connector: for Ultra, look for explicit compatibility with Galaxy Watch Ultra and its dedicated attachment system. Width alone does not establish fit.
- Confirm the material: check that the listing specifies stainless steel if that is essential; “metal” or a steel-colored finish does not establish the band material.
- Check practical fit details: before ordering, look for the seller’s wrist-size range, adjustment method, clasp description, finish, return terms, and availability. These details are not established for the documented ITFIT band by the cited product information.
