Stable One UI 9 is reportedly reaching the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 in South Korea. Android Authority reported the device-specific rollout on October 6, 2026; availability in other countries was not confirmed in the sources available. If you own one of these phones elsewhere, Samsung’s broader rollout announcement does not establish that the update is already available in your region.

Where stable One UI 9 is available for these Galaxy phones

Samsung’s September 16, 2026 announcement said the One UI 9 rollout began that day for the Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra, after its debut on the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8 and Flip8. Samsung said it would expand gradually to other Galaxy devices. The announcement did not identify the S24 series, Fold6 or Flip6 as receiving stable software at that point. On October 6, Android Authority reported that stable One UI 9 was reaching the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 in South Korea. Its report relied in part on screenshots shared by an X user. That is a South Korea rollout report, not confirmation of a worldwide release. Samsung’s announcement says expansion is gradual, but neither source confirmed when these models would receive stable One UI 9 in the US, Europe or other regions. Reported download sizes and build details

Android Authority reported different package sizes depending on the phone and the software being replaced. These are estimates from that report, not fixed sizes for every device; the download shown on your phone may differ with its current build.

Device group Starting software Reported package and build details
Galaxy S24 series One UI 9 beta About 500 MB; firmware S92xNKSUGEZIF and the September 5, 2026 security patch were reported.
Galaxy S24 series One UI 8.5 About 3.8 GB.
Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 One UI 9 beta About 408 MB; build EZIH was reported.
Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 Not specified in the report About 3.5 GB for the full package; the report did not state a separate starting build for this estimate.

Because the reported sizes depend on the installed software, do not treat the smaller beta-to-stable packages as the expected download if your phone is still on One UI 8.5.

What to check before downloading

  • Check your phone’s software update screen rather than assuming availability from reports about South Korea. The rollout may reach regions at different times.
