The Staff Selection Commission’s tentative 2026–27 calendar does not place Junior Engineer (JE) Paper I or CHSL Tier I in November. It lists JE Paper I for May–June 2026 and CHSL Tier I for July–September. The November ranges are for MTS/Havaldar and Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPFs Paper I. These are month ranges, not confirmed exam-day dates.
SSC also posted a newer “Important Notice – Schedule of Examinations” on October 1, 2026. Its notice-board listing does not show the attachment’s contents, so check that notice for any revised dates before relying on the earlier calendar.
SSC 2026 exam schedule: the published month ranges
SSC’s Tentative Calendar of Examinations for the Year 2026–2027, dated January 8, 2026, gives the following ranges:

The calendar labels these as computer-based examinations (CBE). It provides month ranges rather than individual examination dates, and the ranges are tentative.

Which SSC exams are listed for November?
MTS and Havaldar
The calendar’s September–November range includes November for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar. It does not establish a particular November test date.
Sub-Inspector Paper I
Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Paper I is listed for October–November. This is also a tentative window, not an exact date.

JE and CHSL are not listed for November
JE Paper I is scheduled in the calendar for May–June, while CHSL Tier I is listed for July–September. Neither range extends into November.

Check the newer SSC notice before using these dates
SSC’s official notice board showed an “Important Notice – Schedule of Examinations” posted October 1, 2026—later than the January calendar. The notice-board listing alone does not reveal the attachment’s schedule, so the January month ranges cannot be treated as confirmed against that newer notice.
- Open SSC’s notice board and locate “Important Notice – Schedule of Examinations” dated October 1, 2026.
- Open the attached notice and check the examination name and paper or tier, rather than relying only on a month mentioned in a headline.
- Use any revised dates in that notice where they differ from the January calendar; if it does not give an exact date for your exam, treat the date as unresolved and check SSC’s subsequent official notices.
What does “SCO” mean in this title?
The January calendar and the October notice-board listing do not identify an examination abbreviated “SCO.” The available official material does not establish what the abbreviation refers to, so it should not be expanded or treated as a named November exam without confirmation from an SSC notice.
