Soulog Sense is designed as a capture-to-workflow system, not just a voice recorder that produces transcripts. The Sense device captures audio; Soulog’s app says it can connect recordings with highlights, photos, files, and notes, then make that material searchable and turn it into summaries, action items, answers, and structured outputs. Those are the company’s described capabilities, not independently verified performance results.
How Soulog Sense turns a recording into useful work
The process starts with audio captured on the Sense device and continues in the Soulog app. The app’s stated workflow adds context and tools for working with it, rather than treating a transcript as the final product. Soulog describes the feature set on its Sense product page and features page.
- Capture audio: Record a conversation or other audio with the Sense device.
- Mark useful moments: Soulog says users can highlight a moment while recording.
- Bring in related context: Add photos or screenshots, files, and notes alongside the recording.
- Find and process the material: The app describes searchable transcripts, summaries made with templates, and ways to ask questions about recordings and captured screens.
- Produce next steps or deliverables: Soulog lists action items, answers, and project or document outputs among the possible results.
This can be useful when a conversation’s meaning depends on more than its spoken words—for example, a meeting tied to a screenshot, a project file, or a note taken at the time. The value proposition is that those pieces can live in a connected workflow. The company’s feature descriptions do not, by themselves, establish how accurately the app transcribes, summarizes, or answers questions in a particular user’s situation.

Soulog identifies the recorder as model S1371-BG. Its unboxing page lists 8 GB of storage, Bluetooth 5.0, a 500 mAh battery, and compatibility with iOS 16.1 or later and Android 10.0 or later. The same page lists a magnetic adapter ring, USB-C cable, manual, quick-start guide, and warranty card. The company FAQ also names a magnetic card holder; check the bundle for the specific offer rather than assuming every package has identical contents.

The device needs to be activated in the Soulog app before use. Soulog’s published battery and recording figures are estimates or specifications, not guarantees of a particular runtime: its homepage says a 10-minute charge is estimated to provide eight hours of use and advertises more than 50 hours of continuous recording. Actual battery life and recording time vary with settings and use. See the Soulog homepage for the company’s current figures.
Rewind is conditional, not a way to recover any missed conversation
Soulog advertises up to 30 minutes of rewind, but the feature has prerequisites: it must be enabled and configured beforehand, the device must be on, and the recording must fall within the device’s active hours. It therefore cannot be relied on to recover audio from a device that was off or from a period when rewind was not set up. The 30-minute maximum is a vendor-stated capability on the homepage, not a claim that every recording can be restored after the fact.

Meeting support: no native bot or official conferencing plugin
The mobile product does not natively join meetings as a participant through a bot, and Soulog says it has no official Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams plugins. The company describes two alternatives: record meeting audio played through speakers, or import an exported meeting-audio file. These workflows differ from a service that joins a call directly, so users should choose based on how their meetings are hosted and what capture method is acceptable.
Soulog also describes separate desktop software that can record desktop audio in online meetings, work with local files, and use custom model endpoints. Its page names Claude Code and Codex as compatible. These are vendor-described desktop capabilities; consult the desktop software page for the company’s details.

Compatibility, privacy, and recording consent
Phone and desktop requirements
Soulog’s FAQ lists iOS 16.1 or later and Android 10 or later for the mobile app. The desktop workflow is described separately on the company’s download page; check that page for current platform and setup details before relying on it.
What Soulog says about privacy
Soulog states that cloud sync is off by default, recordings are encrypted on the device, in transit, and in cloud storage, and user content is not sold or used to train AI models. These are the company’s privacy statements, not the results of an independent security audit. Read the FAQ and applicable privacy terms to understand the settings and conditions that apply to your use.

Get consent where required
Recording rules vary by jurisdiction and may depend on where every participant is located. Soulog advises users to obtain any necessary consent and says it cannot provide legal advice. Before recording, check the rules that apply to the people and locations involved.

What to compare before choosing a recorder or app
Soulog’s approach is easiest to assess against the workflow you actually need. Compare alternatives on the following points rather than transcript quality alone:
- Capture method: Does the service need dedicated hardware, a phone, desktop software, or a meeting bot?
- Retrospective capture: Can it recover recent audio, and what must be enabled in advance?
- Context: Can you connect photos, files, and notes with audio?
- Outputs: Does it offer search, summaries, action items, question answering, or document generation beyond a transcript?
- Meeting workflow: Does it join calls natively, capture room audio, or depend on exported files?
- Privacy controls: Is cloud sync optional, and what does the provider say about storage, encryption, and model training?
- Compatibility and total cost: Check phone and desktop support alongside the hardware price, subscription, and any credit limits.
Availability and buying details
At the time reflected on Soulog’s homepage, the company displayed a $139.99 list price and a $126.00 launch offer, with an estimated early October 2026 arrival; it also advertised a 30-day guarantee and one-year warranty for that offer. These are time-sensitive sales-page details, not permanent prices or terms. Check the live page for current availability, bundle contents, and conditions.
