Use a tier list to spot broadly strong Soul Strike allies, not to dictate your next upgrade. The right investment for your account is the ally who fills a real team gap, fits your build, and is available and practical for you to develop.
What the current Soul Strike tier list can—and cannot—tell you
Pocket Gamer’s Soul Strike tier list is marked updated October 4, 2026, for version 3.2.6. The page says it added Laurent, Ruelle, Aiyo, Hannia, and Riel. Its author bases the rankings on personal experience and community information, and cautions that “no tier list is absolute.” It is an editorial snapshot, not an official developer ranking or a controlled comparison.

The list says its S-tier allies can carry across stages, while allies lower down may be more useful early or mid-game. That is the publisher’s broad framing, not proof that every S-tier ally is the best upgrade for every account. For example, the page describes Charlotte as an area-damage dealer who reduces enemy Earth resistance and can provide healing through King Slime; Felino reduces enemy defense and applies bleed. Those effects can matter more than a rank when they address what your team lacks.

How to compare a tier-list pick with your roster
Identify the job your team needs
Start with the bottleneck you are actually facing: damage, support, healing, debuffs, crowd control, or another role. An ally’s effect is useful when it solves that problem; a high placement alone does not establish that it will.
#1 Best Overall
- Redeemable on accounts in the United States and in U.S. Dollars.
- Gift card must be redeemed at EpicGames.com/redeem. This gift card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly on a console device (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, etc.)
- If you play Fortnite experiences on a console device, you need to link your Epic Games account to your console account(s) so items purchased at Fortnite.com/item-shop appear across all of your linked accounts
- Requires internet connection, valid Epic account and prior acceptance of the terms
- Redemption: Online
Check synergy with your skills and relics
Com2uS describes Ran as damaging all enemies, stunning them, and increasing allies’ critical damage. Its Origin Orb relic notice says the relic has a chance to reduce the cooldown of a skill used. These examples illustrate why to consider how an ally’s contribution works with the rest of your build, rather than assessing the ally in isolation.
Match elemental value to the team you are building
In its Cecilia update notice, Com2uS describes her as effective in wind-element decks. Awakening adds attacks and reductions to defense and wind resistance. That makes her elemental fit relevant when you are building around wind; it is not a reason by itself to invest if the rest of your roster does not support that plan.

Weigh who you can obtain and develop
Com2uS has described a Master Pick custom pickup that let players select three allies for the pickup, alongside selection tickets tied to a community-voted top three. That notice is historical, so check current in-game availability before planning around a pickup or ticket. Official notices also describe awakening, unique transcendence, and companion keepsakes as progression systems. Compare the development path you can realistically pursue with your alternatives, and check current in-game costs before spending scarce resources. The cited notices do not provide a complete cost table or a universally optimal upgrade sequence.
A practical investment decision
- Name the bottleneck. Decide what is limiting your team now, such as damage, survivability, or a missing effect.
- Shortlist realistic options. Include allies you own and those you can reasonably obtain, rather than planning around uncertain availability.
- Compare the fit. Check role, elemental match, synergy with your skills and relics, and the development state you can support.
- Use the tier list as a broad signal. Let its ranking help distinguish otherwise similar choices, not override what your account needs.
- Reassess when circumstances change. A roster update, a change to your team, or new in-game availability can change which investment makes sense.
This is a practical decision framework, not an in-game formula or a tested universal priority order. The available sources do not establish controlled comparisons across account progressions, complete upgrade costs, or one best sequence for every player.
Quick Recap
Best Value
- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
- Redemption: Online
