The Sony K-75XR70M2 is the 75-inch BRAVIA 7 II, a 2026 Mini LED Google TV with 4K/120Hz signal support, VRR on two HDMI inputs and a 300 × 300 mm VESA pattern. Sony’s specifications make it a promising feature set on paper, but they do not establish how bright it gets, how well it controls blooming, or how it performs in real viewing. This is a specifications-based review, not a hands-on or lab-tested verdict.
What is the Sony K-75XR70M2?
Sony identifies the K-75XR70M2 as the BRAVIA 7 II, a 2026 model. It is a 75-inch-class television with a 74.5-inch measured diagonal, according to Sony India’s specifications. Be careful not to confuse it with the earlier K-75XR70, which is the original BRAVIA 7 rather than the BRAVIA 7 II.
Sony describes the M2 as a True RGB Mini LED TV: its marketing says red, green and blue LEDs are independently controlled, with an expanded color range. The company also lists an XR Processor and X-Wide Angle. These are manufacturer descriptions, not independent measurements of color, brightness or off-axis image quality. The specifications suggest an ambitious display design, but they cannot answer the most important real-world picture questions. No exact-model independent measurements or hands-on findings are established here for peak brightness, HDR tone mapping, black levels, local-dimming behavior, visible blooming, color accuracy, reflection handling, viewing angles or motion. A claim that this set is brighter, more accurate or better at controlling halos than another television would need direct testing.

Sony lists HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision support. That confirms format compatibility in the cited model specifications; it does not establish how the TV renders a particular HDR scene. If picture quality is the deciding factor, look for a review that explicitly tests the K-75XR70M2, rather than one of the earlier K-75XR70 models.
Is the K-75XR70M2 good for gaming?
Sony lists four HDMI inputs, support for signals up to 3840 × 2160 at 120Hz, VRR on HDMI 3 and 4, and ALLM on HDMI 1–4. The port and signal details appear in Sony Japan’s BRAVIA 7 II specifications and Sony India’s specifications. This is a useful feature set for current consoles and gaming PCs, but it does not establish input lag or prove that every advanced signal format works on every HDMI port.

- Connect a console or PC that needs VRR to HDMI 3 or HDMI 4.
- Check that the source device is set to output 4K at up to 120Hz and that the HDMI cable supports the required signal.
- Confirm the TV’s input configuration and the source’s output settings if the expected refresh rate or VRR option is unavailable.
ALLM is listed for all four ports, while VRR is limited to HDMI 3 and 4. Check the instructions for your region and setup rather than assuming all ports offer identical gaming capabilities.
Will it fit on a TV stand or wall?
Sony India lists the set at approximately 1,671 × 1,034 × 386 mm with stand and 42.1 kg with stand. The same specifications give a 300 × 300 mm VESA hole pattern and carton dimensions of approximately 1,790 × 1,161 × 196 mm. These figures are regional specifications; check the support page for your country and measure the furniture, doorway and installation area before ordering. The weight also makes it important to confirm the stand’s load capacity and arrange suitable help for lifting.

For wall mounting, match the mount to the 300 × 300 mm VESA pattern and the TV’s weight, and follow its installation instructions. Sony’s U.S. support page lists an SU-WL905 wall-mount guide; consult the K-75XR70M2 support page and manuals page for model-specific documentation. Included components can vary by country or region.
What are its smart-TV and audio features?
The U.S. product page lists Google TV and mentions Google Assistant, Chromecast, Apple AirPlay and HomeKit. Sony says Gemini is available on select models by software update, so availability should be checked for the buyer’s region and current software. Sony’s specifications also confirm eARC/ARC, which can send audio to a compatible receiver or soundbar. The available information does not establish that the built-in speakers are inadequate or that any particular audio accessory has been tested with this TV.

How much does the Sony K-75XR70M2 cost?
Sony’s U.S. product page displayed $2,299.99 and a $3,099.99 comparison price when checked on October 7, 2026. Those are a dated U.S. seller-page snapshot and comparison price, not a guarantee of current availability or a measure of prices across retailers. Check the live listing, delivery terms, return window and warranty in your region before buying.
Is the Sony K-75XR70M2 worth buying?
On specifications alone, the K-75XR70M2 is worth shortlisting if you want a large 4K TV with Sony’s True RGB Mini LED design, Google TV, 4K/120Hz signals, VRR and a conventional 300 × 300 mm VESA pattern. The specifications do not justify a firm picture-quality verdict or a claim that it beats competing premium TVs. Before committing, compare exact-model independent testing, current local pricing, installation fit, warranty and return terms.
