An October 6 report from The Verge, republished by Yahoo Tech, put the price at $359, or $140 below a $499 reference price, and reported the same price at Amazon and Best Buy. Quick Recap
Best Value
- Surround yourself in the story: Go deeper into every scene with spatial audio. Dolby Atmos and the upward-firing drivers work in concert to immerse you in a multidimensional soundstage. You’ll hear planes as if they’re flying overhead, sense footsteps moving across the room, and feel the music swell all around you.
- Feel the bass: Experience every rumble, roar, and beat you've been missing with clean, pulse-pounding bass. Sub 4 takes over the lowest frequencies so paired speakers are free to focus on midrange and high frequencies so everything sounds even clearer.
- Wonderfully wireless: Place Sub 4 anywhere in the room. It connects to the soundbar over WiFi, so you can create the setup that works best for your space.
- Perfectly tuned for the room: Using the microphones in your iOS device, Trueplay tuning technology analyzes the unique acoustics of your space and optimizes the EQ. So all your content sounds just the way it should.
- Breeze through setup: Simply plug in the power cable, connect your phone or tablet to WiFi, and open the Sonos app. It will guide you through connecting the soundbar to your TV and syncing your TV remote for streamlined control.

How to judge a Sonos deal before checkout
- Check the exact model: A discount on one Beam or speaker does not establish the discount on another Sonos product.
- Compare the actual prices: Confirm the current selling price and the reference price shown for that specific item; do not assume the advertised maximum applies.
- Check what the listing includes: The available sale coverage does not establish a complete catalog or bundle contents. Make sure the price is for the product you intend to buy.
- Confirm seller, stock and final cart price: Sonos, Amazon and Best Buy may show different availability or prices. The cited coverage does not establish an end time, so do not assume the offer will remain available.
