The 35 Years of Speed: The Sonic Art Exhibit has finished its Seattle and Los Angeles stops, but iam8bit’s official collection page lists exhibition-related prints and original artwork. The announced window for timed-edition print orders runs through October 20, 2026; check the iam8bit collection for current prices and item status, which can change.
What was the 35 Years of Speed exhibition?
Organized by SEGA and iam8bit to mark 35 years of Sonic the Hedgehog, the exhibition brought together newly imagined Sonic artwork, fan-submitted pieces and historical artwork from SEGA’s archives. Its official event page describes a curated collection featuring work from “over 30 renowned artists.”
The event combined those three sources of art in its exhibitions; that does not mean every displayed work is part of the online merchandise collection.

| Stop | Venue and address | Dates | Admission information |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seattle | 210 Gallery, 301 Occidental Ave S | September 4–6, 2026, during PAX West weekend | Not stated by the cited event listing. |
| Los Angeles | ARK/8, 115 S La Brea Ave | September 26–27, 2026 | Time Out listed the Los Angeles show as free, with hours of 11 a.m.–7 p.m.; this listing does not establish Seattle admission details. |
Both stops had concluded by October 3, 2026. SEGA and iam8bit’s official exhibition page gives the event details and says fan submissions are closed. Selected fan works were slated for a best-of showcase on SEGA’s official social media and website, with selected art also featured at the exhibitions.

What can you buy from the iam8bit collection?
The Sonic 35th Art Show collection lists timed-edition prints and original art pieces. Gaming Age reported that the online sale focuses on fan-created works and that SEGA archive content is not being sold through this collection. SEGA archive art was part of the exhibition, but it should not be confused with the listed merchandise.
Examples visible in the collection included:
- Count Dunula’s Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles “Tails” Prower and Knuckles the Echidna timed-edition prints, each listed at $15.
- David Redon’s He’s Like the Wind timed print, listed at $50.
- Nuri Durr’s Sonic The Hedgehog: 35th Anniversary timed print, listed at $50.
- Original art pieces at varying prices.
These are examples from the captured collection listing, not a guarantee of current price or stock. The page showed a mix of preorder and sold-out labels, so a collection listing alone does not mean an item can still be ordered.
