The Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 is an entry-level 4 nm mobile platform with an eight-core CPU and sub-6 GHz 5G rated for peak downlink speeds up to 1 Gbps. The available benchmark results are from Xiaomi’s Redmi A4 5G—not a standardized test of the chip by itself—so treat them as examples of performance in that particular phone.
Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 specifications at a glance
Qualcomm’s product brief lists the following platform capabilities. They describe what the silicon can support; a phone maker’s design and configuration determine which features a handset actually includes.
| Category | Specification |
|---|---|
| Process | 4 nm |
| CPU | 64-bit Qualcomm Kryo CPU: 2 performance cores up to 2 GHz and 6 efficiency cores up to 1.8 GHz |
| Graphics | Qualcomm Adreno GPU; OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2.0 and Vulkan 1.1 support. The cited brief does not specify a GPU model number. |
| Memory | LPDDR4x, up to 2133 MHz |
| Storage | UFS 3.1, two-lane |
| Display | On-device FHD+ support, up to 90 Hz |
| Video decode | Hardware H.265 and VP9 decoding |
| Camera | Dual 12-bit ISPs; up to 25 MP single-camera capture with 30 fps zero shutter lag, up to 84 MP photo capture, 1080p single video at 60 fps, and 720p slow motion at 120 fps |
| Charging and USB | Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+; USB 3.2 Gen 1 over USB Type-C |
These are Qualcomm’s listed platform limits, not a promise that a handset will offer every listed camera mode, display refresh rate, charging feature or interface. Check the specific phone’s specifications for implementation details. Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 product brief.

The platform supports sub-6 GHz 5G standalone FDD and TDD, with 100 MHz bandwidth, 2×2 MIMO and a rated peak downlink of up to 1 Gbps. That is a platform rating, not a prediction of the speed a user will see; actual service depends on network coverage, carrier configuration, signal conditions and the phone.

How does it compare with the Moto G35 5G?
Gadgets 360’s comparison shows why a single benchmark does not establish an overall winner. These are results for the two named phones, not isolated SoC measurements.
| Benchmark | Redmi A4 5G | Moto G35 5G | Higher result |
|---|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu v10 | 387,157 | 470,387 | Moto G35 5G |

| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 1,919 | 2,290 | Moto G35 5G |
| 3DMark Wild Life | 647 | 1,351 | Moto G35 5G |
In this comparison, the Redmi leads on Geekbench 6 single-core, while the Moto leads on AnTuTu v10, Geekbench 6 multi-core and 3DMark Wild Life. Consider the workload you care about, and remember that benchmarks do not by themselves describe day-to-day experience.

What these results can—and cannot—tell you
The listed scores provide a useful point of reference for the Redmi A4 5G, but they do not establish how every Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 phone will perform. For a practical comparison between handsets, check the exact model’s memory and storage configuration, display resolution and refresh rate, battery and power tuning, and carrier-band compatibility. The cited results do not establish sustained performance or throttling under longer loads.
