The Exynos 1380 leads the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 in all three benchmark results reported by 91Mobiles: AnTuTu, Geekbench single-core, and Geekbench multi-core. That snapshot suggests stronger measured performance for the Exynos 1380, but it does not guarantee the same gap in every phone or establish which handset is the better buy.
Benchmark comparison: Exynos 1380 leads the reported tests
91Mobiles reports the following results for the two processors. Its comparison labels the AnTuTu figures as tested by 91Mobiles.
| Benchmark | Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 | Exynos 1380 | Higher reported result |
|---|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu total | 478,134 | 612,769 | Exynos 1380 |
| Geekbench single-core | 952 | 1,025 | Exynos 1380 |
| Geekbench multi-core | 2,261 | 2,962 | Exynos 1380 |
As described on the 91Mobiles comparison page, AnTuTu combines CPU, GPU, memory, and user-experience areas, while Geekbench compares single- and multi-threaded CPU performance. The captured comparison does not identify benchmark versions or give enough methodology to treat these numbers as a controlled, universal head-to-head. Phone cooling, firmware, memory configuration, and testing conditions can all affect results.

Snapdragon 4 Gen 2
Qualcomm describes Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 as a 4 nm mobile platform with a Kryo CPU and Snapdragon X61 5G modem-RF system. Its specification page lists CPU clock speed up to 2.3 GHz, while noting that a 2.2 GHz version also exists. The maximum varies by platform version, so check the specifications for the exact phone rather than assuming every model reaches the same clock speed.

Qualcomm lists Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1, as well as support for FHD+ displays up to 120 FPS and Quick Charge 4+. The company’s stated charging result is up to 50% in 15 minutes under its qualification; actual charging depends on the phone’s design and implementation. These are platform capabilities, not guarantees that every Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 handset supports each feature in the same way.
Exynos 1380
Samsung describes Exynos 1380 as an octa-core processor with four Arm Cortex-A78 performance cores, four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, and a five-core Arm Mali-G68 GPU. Samsung lists NPU capability of up to 4.9 trillion operations per second.
The chip has an integrated 5G modem. Samsung states peak speeds of up to 3.79 Gbps download and 1.28 Gbps upload, but those are manufacturer-stated capabilities, not a promise of real-world network speed. Samsung also lists support for camera sensors up to 200 MP and zero-shutter-lag capture up to 64 MP; neither figure guarantees a particular phone’s camera hardware or image quality. Samsung cautions that specifications and performance can vary with system configuration and conditions.

What the scores mean for everyday use
The benchmark snapshot favors Exynos 1380 in measured overall and CPU performance. It is a useful indication when comparing the two chips, but it cannot by itself tell you how a specific phone will feel or perform over time.
- Responsiveness: Geekbench results offer a comparison of CPU performance in the reported tests, but everyday speed also depends on software, memory, storage, and the phone’s configuration.
- Gaming and sustained workloads: AnTuTu includes GPU and other components, but the reported result does not establish sustained frame rates or thermal behavior in a particular handset.
- Battery life and charging: Chip specifications do not determine a phone’s battery capacity, power management, charger support, or charging speed in practice.
- Cameras and connectivity: Platform support does not establish the cameras, supported 5G bands, Wi-Fi implementation, or image processing included in an individual device.
How to choose between phones using these chips
Compare complete handset models available in your country, not just their processors. The 91Mobiles page lists Samsung Galaxy A35 5G as an Exynos 1380 example, and POCO M7 and vivo Y400 as Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 examples. Those listings do not establish current availability, exact regional variants, or that any model is the best choice for you.
- Check the exact regional model and its current local price and availability.
- Compare RAM and storage configurations; phones with the same processor can ship with different amounts.
- Look for device-specific testing or reviews that address sustained performance and heat, especially if gaming matters to you.
- Compare battery capacity, charging implementation, display, and camera hardware on the manufacturer’s phone specification pages.
- Verify supported 5G bands and Wi-Fi for your network and region.
- Check the manufacturer’s software-update commitments and warranty terms for the exact model.
Because the benchmark versions and test conditions are not stated in the reported comparison, avoid combining its scores with results from other benchmark versions or test setups as if they were directly comparable.
